Thursday I got some really great henna! I gots me an amazing fishy from Henna by Anita of Hummingbird Henna Design~ Dharma got an amazing back piece, and Selayma got her foot and leg wrapped and all of them turned a really beautiful dark brown instead of orange when it dried! www.hummingbirdhenna.com

Friday night we were taken to a beautiful hafla hosted by Raqs Sayyal! The venue had a stage, but was really vivacious and fun! A overgrown wall with billions of tiny lights.... and posters all over the place and statues out the waaaaazooooo! LOVED IT! BTW.... the Vegan Custard is to die for!! www.mercurycafe.com

Saturday we were at the Dayton Consistory which is always a treasure trove of mysterious symbols and fabulous archetecture. The stage is amazingly beautiful and the lighting and sound is amazing!
~`TribalTique taught a great combo class, started out with crazy and fun yoga stuff- I just lay on the floor.and watch with awe! (pretending to be doing cobra of course).

Saturday nights show Featured Kara Nomadica and they are soo amazing! And really great to dance to! They pitched in and improved a Cane piece drum solo! Sunday Selayma taught a Sword workshop (she was me teacher... yummy!) It was funny to watch her get the students turned around facing the back and be giving instructions where they couldn't see her... there is no quick way to slyly turn your head around to look back with a big honking weapon on your head... endless fun!
...er skipped lunch... how did that happen?
Then my choreo seminar. Geez, who decided to make us work... still had a great F'n time! The mystic touch routine... we were definately touched.... I love you bad monkey nuts!!!

Dharma has been an excellent travelling companion...... . Selayma has more reasons to love corn dogs... 1 Pickle and and rosemary potatoes demonstrate body piercing techniques quite well... there really is a Mary Poppins purse... and Dharma is... and I photos to prove it.... Life is amazingly beautiful

Life has been amazing.... today I found myself again teaching the dance class that makes me the most nervous... I have a hard time sleeping the night before- and run out the door late every time trying to make sure everything it just right.....

For the Chaos! .... And every second of it is worth being surrounded and loved on by no less than 20 toddlers and their teachers. Asking for salsa dancing and to be alligators again.

Today as we were clapping to middle eastern music and irish step dancing, it got better by it being pajama day! I wish corporations had pajama day!!!!

What the heak? mmmm well why not.

YAY!!! so yesterday the boys came over and helped me dumpster pick a dark wood futon... we ahhh decided to forgo the mattress (grin) and gave it quite a colorful past in our own minds! Muahahahaaaa manual labor for Wendy's burgers... It is quite a happy moment! It is a bit bungled up, but definitely salvageable as a bed use!!!

Now I am going to put my mental Juju towards getting some sort of next to the door entry way thingy that I can put coats in and shoes under.... so I can retake the hall closet and make it a bath closet.. Ridiculous to walk to the back end of the apt to put your coat and boots away! also will be thinking of finding somehow an actual TV... any old hand down that is ready to take a VCR so that I can watch VHS tapes.. *Sigh* I loved Tivo... I miss it dearly!

Then off to show one of the Guys Momo 2* A japanese themed bowling ally- pool hall- hello kitty store- karioke private room- tea and fried dumpling extravaganza and Bar. Oh and don't forget the mandatory Fish tank! HA! HA! and I wasn't the overly ADD monkey that locked their keys in their car! Oh Ho no! But I did have the AAA that earned me a root beer float and free pool games! (I am not great at pool... but every once in a while I can absolutely run a table... makes me look like a hustler... but I swear- Every once in a while, a strange part in my brain turns on and works- I understand it all completely- Then I see something shiny! and it is all gone!)

Somehow they suckered me back to Broadghettos and the boys hooked up Dance Dance revolution. I finally had the chance to try that bad boy out myself in the sanctity of someone's living room! I had heard some rumor that it was actually added to some schools gym curriculum. If so... bravo! And curse the R/B arrow combination....! The beginner levels were a bit awkward for me... it helped when someone told me it doesn't register each and every movement you make on the matt... yep- definitely much less almost crashing to the floor after that!

After the boys ordered pizza we settled into watched the anime series ... er ? boro lagann... er... I think I was 8 episodes away... but we didn't, as these lovable computer guys go to sleep when the sun comes up.. Leather couch of goodness plus anime, plus pizza and friends, plus John and kitty love! Meow!!!!!

Otherwise It was great fun being educated on 'that's an internet thing' culture. If I heard some weird code words and saw the boys nod seriously and say that "I.A.I.T."to me again I was gonna iait! while I Karate Chopped and booted them to the head.. Which they did, and I did.... Which started me down a strange journy of what a 'trap*** is and Pastafarianism ***** (which has a great pirate fish car emblem)...

Saturday... Was great too!

Ohhhh and almost better than partying all night with those monkeys was the sleepy time and then the SAT morning shower.... I got Aveda rosemary and mint shampoo and conditioner as a gift. I bet there is something better than Aveda... but I am not sure what! Life is soooooo great! And although today I smell like basset... Sat I smelled heavenly!

MMmmmm so Saturday was also a winner! bob evans treat for lunch! Their Fettichini like vegetable chicken pasta and hot cocoa was sooo yummy! Thanks Big tall white girl! .. I always love our talks! Sorry about having to leave you to that guy from the other table.

I used my massage gift certificate so that I could brave the blood relative reunion. This time I tried August from Gentle winds out near easton. It was a really light tough massage- however he seemed to still get the trigger point in. I would definitely recommend him!

So my blood family is definitely breeding.... and it seems just strange. One part of my uncles children are giants.. an aunt has hobbits like me.... A girl cousin who is really endearing and redneck like my good friend. And they are all having babies! And others are this wierd blend of startrek commerce and boyscout activity (which of course I love). I am totally jealous I wasn't able to boyscout... and off that topic I totally know why I am a nut now.

Lol.. I see my people, what I used to judge the world when I was younger. It was a mixture of hugs, curiosity, jabs, snobbery, and remarks about how many years I have avoided the function. Will do so again.. so there (grin) Of course my most upstanding aunt walks in an my adult cousin happily announces we were talking about burlesque ... Which of course is rebuttaled with a pointed " I wouldn't know about that, I only went to your cousins ballet show (she teaches of course) *sigh* Yep.... They don't really know what to do with me... Blah.

One the cool museum side of life I have one cousin that is an unofficial freakin runway model.. I really liked that her physical appearance actually shocks me! It was fun! You just look and look like you can't believe something that tall exists! (me being only 5'2" there is a lot of things like that to me) She is just georgious.

When all is said and done. I am glad they all exist. I want to love them- but some are really prickly, and I am not that healed up yet. It all was a bit like going to the movies after a scary movie... Amazing adventure- but afterwards you are tired of all the adventure and you are happy to get back to normal life...

So off to The Eddval Vikings House. I miss being with them. They are turning their actual really real carriage house (already soo neat!) into a viking cabin/ photography studio. the axe throwing range still needs to be redone... but it is still usable... Any how the new Viking navel beer carrier is freakin georgious! The wood floors they put in made such a difference... And it has a cool lofty like sleeping place, and great fun carvings that I can't wait to show you guys photos of! Everyone has pitched in and worked soo hard on it for a few years now....

So I was over for a surprise movie. It was the simpsons movie! Which was fun! ( However last night the guys ruined spider pig forever with some weird Pig hentai clip... shudders... Gods forbid the religious pork is a no no faction actually see that little gem. Although I guess It is from Japan...not the U.S. but still!!! ).

Moving on... I opened my holiday gift to find a 30ct set of sharpee markers there! Happy Dance... Ohhh Happy dance!!!

Also my first bowling game is forever was smashing!!! Just look under cricket.... Muahahahaaaaa

Friday we had a great time seeing Viva and the burlesque show!! It was good seeing King enjoy the "Jump" song soo much.. I now know what happens when one goes jump roping with gigantic Gazoongas that are not strapped down. Amazing! Anime is not always fantasy!

LOL! You find that you have undies preferences. I prefer full back panties on dancin ladies.. Ruffley undies are soo cute! Pleather is like a Fabulous mirror! LOL! Everyone shouted and hollered their heads off! It was funny to discover I was at a loss as to wether I should or should not take pics of my friends pasties! After thought, and Viva's disappointment at lack of photo, it is a no brainer... so from now on I will wield my camera with zest!

I was in a strange humor... and people nicely posed for photos being chased by my tiger glass... thank you.

Also it was weird that 1) people from High School were at that show- And 2) they were recognizable and 3)they were sober!!!! (grin) many people from years ago stopped by to say hi!

Then there was Nae's creepy good 3am macaroni and cheese and nobake cookie slam... Her husband makes the bestest sourcrout balls! (at no other time will you get me to eat SC so forget it mom!) Those girls can sure Party!

Today is me B-day!

I am 31 now!!! I am really exited to get into next year! I think in the Chinese Horoscope this current year was the year of the boar... Feb 7th should start the year of the rat! Life is great!
