Grand day out - or: The World needs more Heart

   Tue, February 6, 2007 - 12:47 PM
feel somewhat human again. My first big adventure after surgery (gal bladder removal) was to my trusted and favourite hairdresser and Sarah and Alina did their magic. Alina is responsible for the heart :-), cut and colour by the lovely Sarah.

Met a couple of colleagues on the way and it was great to see them. The office is just two blocks away from my hairdresser and since it was around lunch time I had already expected something like this. To my surprise I did not only get a card from my own department, but also from the department next door, our product schedulers. That one took my really by surprise and I know the person behind this. It brought more than a smile to my face, that was really unexpected!

The bruises from the drip etc. are finally fading, three of the four incisions are healing nicely, just the one in my bellybutton still hurts and even stings. Different tissue, they used different stitches there to keep the skin together, it's also the deepest and longest incision and I don't think it's infected. Check-up is tomorrow and I might be back in the office on Monday. Honestly, it's getting a bit boring and day time television sucks braindead zombie-ass.

My first venture was quite exhausting though, I have to admit. I barely make the speed-limit of a snail on tranquilizers...
Well, it's been only 10 days...
