April 13, 2007nice to meet you
February 12, 2006I first met "Le Duge" when he was in the seventh grade (1981). He was just a snot-nosed kid, who lived around the corner, playing sports and the occasional D & D game with my (future) stepson and myself. Watching this sometimes-mischievous kid grow up into a fine gentleman, was sometimes tragic and/or sometimes humourous, but Le Duge was never boring! I realized he was too smart for his own good at times; Jeez, no wonder we always got along (unless "le Duge was doing a Le Duge", being the Crown-Prince of Chaos); yet, I too, have a Thinking Problem.
Upon High School graduation, and into the adult workforce, Le Duge took care of business. His maturity of self & his dedication to his family, friends and employers is truly "old-school". He followed my lead into Electronic music composition, and I followed his into the retail Paint business (the ol' necessity of a day-job). Yeah, I'll admit he's a better (paint color) eye-matcher than I am, and the few times he was my "supervisor" in the same company, he proved himself to have excellent organizational & leadership skills.
For a time in 1988, I thought I was "gonna hit the big time" and Le Duge offered his help as my personal assistant (he was already my golf-partner, why not?). I'd toss him my car keys and off he went; and I would always receive compliments regarding his courtesy & professionalism while acting on my behalf. My "meteoric rise" was then cut short by a motorcycle accident in Oct. 1988. While lying in the hospital bed, I received only 4 groups of visitors during my weeklong stay: my wife & stepson, my mother & step-dad, my foster brother & his wife and LeDuge. It's when "life" is shoving a feces sandwich down your throat, that your true & loyal friends show up with the Grey Poupon and Brewski's to help you get it down, or even, take a bite out of it for you: Le Duge brought/brings Guinness (my fave!), and as I recall, there were smudges of mustard on his chin (I was getting that Morphine drip & it wasn't helping enough, but that's what I remember)…
I see that Le Duge is advertising himself as a free-lance personal assistant. I must recommend him to you, the potential employer, that he is definitely worth the $$$. You are getting a true gentleman and near-scholar for pennies on the dollar. I say this as one who truly knows the man...
Cordially (and with pride)

Black Oracle - Burger King Bandit, retired
September 3, 2004Okay now I've joined your Tribe Cult of Satanists Doug, I could only imagine who Joe M. is, the biggest Satanists of all (Mr. Black Oracle)? Anyway I guess this shows how much I wanted to keep in touch with Doug and others. Speaking of those old Doug CV High School parties, I was the one who brought the Faces of Death Video and the only watching, laughing! How the hell are you Doug or is it Duge?
May 24, 2004Duge as you know him is one of my oldest and dearest friends. We went to High School together and have had many adventures, including my first real experiences with that lovely tribe Female! I have to say that my best memories of that younger time were with him. He is crazy and adventurous on a whole new level! When he had parties at his house he would often put me in charge of the house and the 3 speed 'Olds'. Oh the time I had in that car.
We used to pack like 12 people in our friend Scott's Maverick and do a hundred miles an hour with a dude in the trunk (John St. Pierre)on our way to Ruthies Inn in Berkely to see Slayer, Exodus etc....
We were some crazy fuckers! Hey Doug, how bout the time we stole that car?....and jumped out at 30 mph going down the road with a cop behind us?!?!?!
Love ya brother!
More to come....
