I heart Aileen!!!! She saw right through my socially inept standoffish facade and is one of the people that I jump up and down with excitement waiting to see. She gives great hugs and is a magical poi spinner, contact staffer, up and coming juggler, etc. She'll be there when it all gets weird. The circle she surrounds herself with is so full of love and support that one can't help but notice that this one must be special. She's one of my favorite comrades on Team Helluv Short too.

There isn't enough Aileen to go around. She's short, so that's probably part of it. She's silent, so that's also part of it. She's one of nine, so that's a factor. But the biggest part is that her talent, kindness, and stage presence always make people smile and want more. Plus she's the only one of my performer friends who've actually been to a Rush concert.

Aileen has grown tremondously as a fire performer over the past few months. When she hits the stage, that stage will know its done been hit.

A is a wonderful soul spreading her love to all with her joy and love for the earth and all of it's inhabitants.

Aileen has blessed my life by being incredibly genuine and real.

She is a rainbow of light and I feel a strong kinship with this fire goddess. Her energy is vibrant, loving, disarmingly sweet and intelligent. She has a soft subtle nature that alternates with a bubbling creative joy and a courageous ability to face emotions all along the spectrum head on. Her independance is clearly seen, yet is not to be confused with the stubbornness to refuse to ask for help within the community. She has a clear grasp of what is important and is willing to do what it takes to nuture what she loves. The skill that she embodies in fire and circus arts is without a bunch of fluffy ego. she just has it goin' on. I am so thankful to know you Alien Aileen... your a suppahh space creature that can defy gravity with contact jugglyness.

Well, since I have a few minutes I might as well repay Aileen with a bit a praise.
She stepped into my life at a very hectic time....back then I was still a crappy poi/staff spinner and was in a bad space emotionally.
I remember the first time I met her and her saying she never really had any relationships before and I really didn't understand what that meant.....
Now after a while I think I know her enough that this makes sense. Aileen is all at the same time an independent, stubborn girl, that needs space as well as attention. Being one of nine might do that, she never needed a man and chose to keep to herself and protect her emotions.
I feel extremely lucky that AIleen has chosen to sacrafice her independence and share her feelings with a bad contact juggler. She has seen beyond what I see in my self. She identifies problems and attempts to discuss them with an openess that I can tell is difficult for her. She is pretty hot when she spins or even when she's sad or angry. Honestly she's still hot when I'm angry at her.
When we go camping or hangout with various local and international fire peeps...I love the time I spend with her.....Sometimes I don't even have to pay attention to her sometimes, whether at home or at a party I can go off geek out on poi and when I'm finished she's always there waiting, looking at me or steving. I look forward to being picked up by her afterschool and dropped off before school....I love making breakfst on the beach with her and then sharing it with the rest of the RWB bobbleheads.....I love that all my friends like her.....she can tolerate hanging out with me and my nutty mom.......she can stand my flatulence....
I dunno, I'm rambling now, Aileen and I come from different spaces in the last few years but after much thought, talk in the past few months everyday I look forward to going through the throes with her.
