A 'TAIL' of 2 KITTIES

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/lefey/blog/4b52a8a5-2cff-4afa-a04f-cf9e5c129a6b">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/b8f/d93/b8fd9337-94c3-4b7f-877a-215179c3680b.thumb" width="65" height="65" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>Two weeks ago, we had strong winds, frequent lightening, crashing thunder &amp; waves of heavy rain every 15-20 min. During all of this, my dog &amp; male cat were curled up safely asleep in the house. However, my 3 female cats who had been out earlier hunting &amp; exploring, were still outside. Whenever the rain slowed down a little, my bofriend &amp; I attempted to get the cats to come in. After several failed attempts, we could only hope they had all found a safe, dry place to ride out the storm.

As it continued to pour, the backyard developed several large 'pools' of water. Finally, Mama Kittie, walking on top of the wood fence to avoid the flooded yard, managed to make it to the patio &amp; the safety of the house. But, where were Magic &amp; Ebony? After about 45 min, we heard terrible 'screechie' sounds from the line of cedar trees that divides my property from the neighbors to the south. Since the electricity had gone out hours ago, it was pitch black outside. Using a flashlite, we spotted the 2 'girls' in the cedar trees. No amount of coaxing could persuade them to come down. And then, another band of really heavy rain came down with wind &amp; huge cracks of thunder.

Finally, the wave of heavy rain passed. It was now just steady but lighter rain. My boyfriend got on his heavy sweats &amp; knee boots and armed with a flashlight, he managed to get one of the 'girls' down. She quickly ran into the front bedroom &amp; hid under the bed. The other cat was a little higher up &amp; farther back in the tree. He had to go around onto the neighbor's property to get her. She promptly ran into my office &amp; hid under my desk. I think they have had enough of an 'adventure' for a while!

Why were they in the trees in the first place? Well, we figure that when it started to rain, they took shelter in the heavy undrebrush under the line of cedar trees. Ordinarily, this would have been a good idea. But not that nite! When it began to flood under &amp; around the cedar trees, we figure the kitties paniced &amp; climbed up the trees in an effort to keep dry. Cats are good at going UP trees, not so good at going DOWN!! As for how they are doing now~~~they have forgotten all about their little adventure and were caught out in the rain AGAIN several more times! But, they are staying out of the cedar trees &amp; avoiding to still flood area surrounding the trees. However, Zevi is having the greatest of times playing in the water~~~dogs are soooooooooooooo stupid!

										<div>I didn't appreciate the sun
the sunny days
not until they were taken away
dark nights of the soul and now I know
oh now i know
oh now I know
I didn't understand love until it was gone
and it hits us baby when we are most alone
love is what we can give of ourselves to others
but first we must find it within and not with our lovers
and when we can accept ourselves for who and what we are
forgiveness lord becomes the highest art
and now that we have been through the dark and storms
the blue skies in your eyes feels like being reborn.</div>

    </a>
										<div>Yesterday she was out of ICU &amp; I got to hold her for the first time in over 3 weeks. She has been at OU Children's Hospital in OKC for almost a month &amp; will be transferred to the Cancer Unit today. She's been very sick from the chemo &amp; has only been able to keep down apple juice but she's smiling &amp; likes kicking her legs &amp; waving her arms around. She had just started walking before she got sick &amp; we think she really wants to get up &amp; try it again! She's a very tough, brave little girl!

Thanks to all who have sent prayers &amp; good wishes....we appreciate them all.</div>

    </a>
										<div>who was just a year old on March 31st was diagnosed with a large brain tumor several weeks ago. Her prognosis was not good....30% chance of surviving the surgery at all &amp; there was a 90% chance that if she survived, she would be blind. Well, she survived &amp; it appears that she can see, but there's no way to tell yet just how well she can see. Needless to say, we have all been VERY worried about her......but things are begining to look better....I just recieved this today...

Madison had a good day today. She started showing us what she was made of. I got a real blessing when I showed up they were just getting ready to take her to CT for a picture of her head to see if the ventricles were OK so they could clamp the tube coming out of her brain thats draining the cerebral spinal fluid and the nurse asked if I would like to carry her down to XRAY. SO I DID. First time to hold her in 5 days. YEA!! The xray was good and they clamped her "brain drain" if the pressure in her head stays below a certain level she'll be able to have that removed.
Tomorrow we have another surgery 12 pm for the infusaport that they place under her skin beneath her clavicle for use during chemotherapy.
Hopefully if all of this goes well we'll have her out of ICU by tuesday.
Otherwise she is the best patient in the hospital I do believe. What a trooper.
Alan fixed a big supper for the kids and Maghan, Bobby and Eric came over (Brandi is sick - please keep her in your prayers) and we had a wonderful family dinner after we got Madison to sleep.
Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts, cards and love. We need every ounce of it.
Oh I don't think i've told you our little angel is getting fatter finally. She's gained a few pounds since she's been here.

Love you all, thanks so much

										<div>My niece got married in Stillwater, OK this afternoon. The ceremony was supposed to start at 2PM, but in our usual family tradition of running late, the wedding started at 2:30 instead. Since he isn't Catholic, the ceremony was short &amp; sweet.
No one had much sleep the night before, 2 of the Groomsmen got lost on the way to the wedding, my nephew was drunk before the wedding even got started &amp; my niece's dress weighed 30 lbs........do you think the newly married couple &amp; everyone else in the wedding party are just glad it's all over!</div>

										<div>A good friend of mine had two shots fired through his windshield by a passing car last Thursday while driving through St. Louis. He lost control of his truck and hit the center divider.....it tore up the whole side of his truck and the guy behind him couldn't stop quick enough and rammed into the back of his truck. BYE, BYE truck.....it's totaled!

The doc in ER said he was damn lucky he was wearing sun glasses....he had a number of small peices of glass in his face &amp; was pretty banged up not to mention he was VERY pissed off!

He's back in Oklahoma now and his insurance will pay medical bills and he will get enough money to buy a new truck.....but that's not the point...

The Best Chain Letter Ever

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/lefey/blog/12564a59-5e11-42b5-a757-1bbf51797fa9">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/a8d/700/a8d700e6-8c8f-4f8f-bbad-94353cfd91a4.thumb" width="65" height="67" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>This made me LMAO....from my friend Sharon..

Hello, my name is Lewis and I suffer from the guilt of not forwarding 50 billion fcking chain letters sent to me by people who actually believe
that if you send them on, a poor 6-year-old girl in Arkansas with a breast on her forehead will be able to raise enough money to have it removed
before her redneck parents sell her to a traveling freak show.

Do you honestly believe that Bill Gates is going to give you, and everyone to whom you send "his" email, $1000?

How stupid are we?

"Ooooh, looky here! If I scroll down this page and make a wish, I'll get laid by a model I just happen to run into the next day!"

What a bunch of bullsht.

Maybe the evil chain letter leprechauns will come into my house and sodomize me in my sleep for not continuing a chain letter that was started
by Peter in 5 AD and brought to this country by midget pilgrims on the Mayflower.

Fck 'em.

If you're going to forward something, at least send me something mildly amusing. I've seen all the "send this to 10 of your closest friends, and
this poor, wretched excuse for a human being will somehow receive a nickel from some omniscient being" forwards about 90 times.

I don't fcking care.

Show a little intelligence and think about what you're actually contributing to by sending out these forwards. Chances are, it's our own unpopularity.

The point being? If you get some chain letter that's threatening to leave you shagless or luckless for the rest of your life, delete it. If it's
funny, send it on.

Don't piss people off by making them feel guilty about a leper in Botswana with no teeth who has been tied to the ass of a dead elephant for 27 years and whose only salvation is the 5 cents per letter he'll receive if you forward this email.

Now forward this to everyone you know.

Otherwise, tomorrow morning your underwear will turn carnivorous and will consume your genitals.

Have a nice day.

P.S. Send me 15 bucks

And....you're probably wondering what the pic has to do with a chain letter.....not godfuckingdamn thing!! I just wanted to post it!

Problems of a Princess

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/lefey/blog/367d8c71-0275-4d47-8ba0-fae1e96c0c5f">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/f34/f14/f34f145c-e7be-49f6-a639-134de2859e86.thumb" width="65" height="76" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>
Once upon a time there lived a king.
The king had a beautiful daughter, the princess.

But there was a problem.
Everything the princess touched would melt.
No matter what;
metal, wood, stone,
anything she touched would melt.
Because of this, men were afraid of her.
Nobody would dare marry her.

The king despaired.
What could he do to help his daughter?
He consulted his wizards and magicians.
One wizard told the king,
"If your daughter touches one thing
that does not melt in her hands,
she will be cured."

The king was overjoyed and came up with a plan.
The next day, he held a competition.
Any man that could bring his daughter an
object that would not melt would marry her
and inherit the king's wealth.
Three young princes took up the challenge.
The first prince brought a sword of the finest steel.

But alas,
once the princess touched it........it melted.
The prince went away sadly.

The second prince brought diamonds.
He thought diamonds are the hardest substance
in the world and would not melt.
But alas, once the princess touched them.....they melted.
He too was sent away disappointed.

The third prince approached.
He told the princess,
"Put your hand in my pocket and feel what
is in there."
The princess did as she was told,
though she turned red.

She felt something hard.
She held it in her hand.
And it did not melt!!!

The king was overjoyed.
Everybody in the kingdom was overjoyed.
And the third prince married the princess
and they both lived happily ever after

Question:
What was in the prince's pants?

M&amp;M's of course.
They melt in your mouth, not in your hand.
What were you thinking you fuckin pervert!!......LOL

So, I was delighted when the series 'Deadwood' started running on HBO....about every 4th or 5th word on the show is 'cocksucker' ....just love that show!

Back in the day...we used to sit around in those all-night study sessions and see who could come up with the longest string of insulting, dirty words...yes.yes...I KNOW we were supposed to be studying for finals.....but, all work &amp; no play is cocksucking boring! And, back then pot was legal...uhhh? wasn't it???

Oh well, my personal favorite string of insulting, dirty words was..'you're a pond scum sucking, maggot mouth, loose pussy lipped, cocksucking, whore hoppin motherfucker'..kudos to Moose...who the fuck was that guy anyway?? Was he actually enrolled??

Whatever....

'The lunatic is in my head
The lunatic is in my head
You raise the blade, you make the change
You re-arrange me &amp;rsquo;till I&amp;rsquo;m sane
You lock the door
And throw away the key
There&amp;rsquo;s someone in my head but it&amp;rsquo;s not me.'

Brain Damage, Pink Floyd, Dark Side of The Moon.....

<div>Goin out with one of my best friends &amp; my cousin...no they're not the same person!

We will be hitting the local Irish pub where we will consume a fair amount of alcohol and then talk about stuff that really pisses us off!

What pisses us off??....husbands/boyfriends, sex....my cuz swears she hasn't had any in years!...well, we all told her not to get married ;).....back to the pissed off list, co-workers, teenage sons, sons who live with the 'bitch from Hell/cunts, conservative Christains, parents who don't have a clue...I could go on but sure you get the idea. Why am I posting this now instead of tomorrow? Well, with a little luck, tomorrow I won't remember what the hell we talked about!</div>
