In the years that I have known and been around Leis, I have been in awe. Seeing the inner light that this amazing woman has, you almost have to shield your eyes...but you really don't want to. I have come to highly respect her for who she is. Which if you hadn't noticed, she is a goddess. The ones that we all have read about and wish that we could be. My dear lady when I grow up I would be honored to have the strength and wisdom that you posess. :) Kathy

Leis is a bit of an enigma and hard to describe, so this was not easy to write, and I told her as such. She is a mystery woman. We first met a few years ago at a Pagan Festival and pretty much hit is off right away. She has a wonderful energy about her. She was in love with a sweet woman at the time, and it was discussed assisting them in siring a love child, which was a great honor to me. But sadly things did not work out for the two of them, so it never came to be. I sense we have a long history together, but for some reason we have not been inspired to hang out together much in this life, other than joyfully meeting at social events. I would love to get to know her better in this life as well, but things will happen as they should. I have a lot of respect for her, and wish for her to find the passion for another as I have. Although it is not for me to say if her life is to walk the same sort of path? I do sense she is on the right path for her, and that is what matters most. You are a spiritually ambitious person, and I pray your trials are never more than you can bare. Blessed be Leis. We love you dearly. Never doubt that and feel free to call on us in time of need, for we know you would be there for us.

In passing the starlight can stop time and conjure a moment of reflection long since overdue, but guiltless within it's endulgence. Like a silence after the storm, where life acts as if awakening to rediscover the world that was always there, but rarely noticed. And in that moment become fully aware of the beauty and generosity that brief encounters can intertwine, and bring an overwhelming gratefulness felt for those experiences of twilight. Fleeting and spent before they're truly appreciated, but redeemed by the knowledge that tommorow they will return. Another day in which I'm never disapointed and fulfilled in the recognition of someone eternal. Keep smiling,

Leis, what a precious friend and fellow woman. Drumming with Leis is a very spiritual thing, as she always listens and plays off the energy we generate., which is a wonderful medaphor for the friendship. She has a beautiful daughter, a true gift to this universe, and she follows her heart in all things, explores deeply, which is both honorable and courageous. I am honored to know her and have her in my life.
