Fan stuff has been keeping me very busy. Fire Drums many years ago... met this awesome lady spinning fire fans on the red white and blue beach. She showed me some tosses and so many new things. A lifetime connection was made. Memory so inclined to pour her skills into every molecule of life around her.... and every molecule of me loves soaking it up.
Love Lena... memories of you are so genuine and blissful. Bounce bounce bounce hugs and love. Super down to Earth Ma... Powerful talent in poi, doubles, fans, and all things juggly and fun. You know those people that are so interested in learning new things and doing things that you get motivated and carried away right along with them? Memory has that affect on the people around her. She expresses herself through art, dance, and word, honest word. I always know I can go to her and will get a blunt honest response, and it's one of my favorite qualities about her.

Oh Memory. . .there is a reason everyone loves you!! Ok there is a TON of reasons why we all love you.
I love the way your take on a situation is right on and always giving people the benefit of the doubt. The way you always have your camera right there to capture all my most favorite moments in life (by the way thanks for being there for those too!) She has the patience of a saint, and a heart of Nirvana. . . She is always one up on your skill level with spinning and is such a gem to see. Its hard to perform with her cause you just get caught up staring. . .and staring. . .and trying to figure out how the hell she just did that. . .when . . .oh. . .oops.. .I'm on. . .ahhhh. . I used to be intimidated by her seamless spinning, fireballs swinging around effortlessly. And then I saw her pick up every other fire toy on the planet and spin them just as smoothly.
And then I found out that she is silly, smart, and sexy as her flow. She is genuine. She gives amazing, splendid hugs. But yeah, I'm still intimidated. April 13, 2006
....still trying to unlock the mystery of Madame Memory? you found the key.. but there’s a smaller door behind that door, and behind that door too.. a rabbit hole & a wonderland.. you’ve been there with her, yet still cannot answer the question:: who….R....u….???? awaking from the depth of the whatbrain unfathomable…….. even stranger is the extreme comfort you feel in her sweet-smiling familiarity like gravity holding you to the warm embrace of the mother earth.. crazier still >> how does she have the time?? all A+ with her nose in the books & those new fiery circus moves mastered months ago.. you’ve got some theories, and she’s got the proofs.. that Memory is honest & truthful, compassionate & forgiving, purity & virtue serving it straight up!!

My beautiful yellow rose. When I first met Lena she was this quasi-nervous girl who never made eye contact. One night her and I started talking. Soon we were talking every week at IK. Shortly after that we started hanging out and I couldn't get enough of her amazing energy. Lena has true talent in conversation, humor, and insight. She is an incredible poi master and a true performer. I love having this woman in my life. She is my friend, my lover, and my counterpart. I can't conceive of life without this little commando who has captured and enriched my heart, imagination, and spirit.
