My Pedigree

July 7, 2005
What makes Leo's Life? Leo's life unfolds like a precious rose bud at the gaze of a loving eye, at the breath or a sweet voice of a loving friend, at a gentle hug or a caring caress of a dear one. His eyes twinkle with awe and gratitude, his heart awakens thru the brooding cold shrouds. The brilliant mind of a man, the Giant of Heart , The sensitivity of a new born, Nature's apreciator of Ansel Adams, Loyalty of a Romantic Knight, he mostly hoods himself by a winter cloak. Who is that guy?
A most talented photographer, artistic designer and most beloved praiser of True sharing of one's Love and talents. How do we miss him beneath the gentle sometimes shy demeanor, behind the most clever and witty humor, or continuous and everlasting feats of friendship and ofers of help?
Why does he live quietly, in his observation of colors of life, poetry of sadness and desire and nostalgia for Eden before the Fall?Why does he bury himself in his numerous amazing works of art-his photographs, or the library of books that spans the whole existence of mankind in its essence and search for truth?

my oldest friend on the planet, i KNOW HIM since his birth. We palyed indians when he was 3 and me 5, he has been my brother and guide for many years now. His wisdom and patience have settled my once tormented and thunderous heart many a season. His faithful hand has helped me with many a task and his trusty spirit rescued me from places at any time of day. One of a few people I could count on at any time for any occasion. He has been at my side at most significant events of my life-love, breakups and marriage, showering me with appreciation support and amazing photo memories.
Any mood I'm in I know he will understand and will let me totally relax.
Always so willing to go the extra mile for me.
So with handsomness of Apollo, poetry of Shakespear and sweetness of Honey, why does he sulk and gloom? His heart is so big and full of love that the real world cannot see it. times. He blooms, women, when he feels wanted and cherished;when he is heard and attended to ...for he always showers you with all romance and attention of his artist's loving eye.

My Self

about me
Wear my heart out on my sleeve, always hoping for the best, learn from past mistakes and long-term friendships, curious, in awe, open-minded, picky, stubborn, too shy, too honest, loving, caring, sharing, a good listener, a loon, a tune, a tool sometimes, tall when i straighten out, handsome if i wanna be, invisible at will, crazy, fun, and good in bed = )

dictum verum et factum convertuntur
- G. Vico

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less. These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete. Remember, spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent. Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak, and give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind. AND ALWAYS REMEMBER: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
- George Carlin

My Verses

Love you no more,
That feeling has passed;
Love you no more,
How could it last?

Love you no more,
I sleep well at night;
Love you no more,
Who cares who was right?

Love you no more,
I’ve learned to let go,
Love you no more,
And how to say “No,”

Love you no more,
I hear myself say;
Love you no more,
But no less everyday…

Waiting for the sun to rise,
So I can close my eyes,
And lay my head down to sleep;

There’s nobody here but me,
My love’s disappeared, you see,
It’s only the memories I keep;

Well, don’t you know it’s hard,
To play on with these cards;
Sure looks like I’m down deep.

And when the nighttime’s done,
For each and all, but one,
My bloodshot eyes at first light weep;

Still, as the morning dew,
Awake, I dream of you,
Adorned in flowers that I reap;

Just like the foggy mist,
Remembering our last kiss,
I’m flying over Lover’s Leap.

Here are some things that time forgot.
They once were loved, but now they're not.
I do not envy them their lot,
But its too late to change this plot.
And though abandoned, left to rot,
They are more beautiful than not.
