about me
As a Quad Virgo (More if you count asteroids), Taurus rising, Scorpio Moon– I provide a ground everywhere I go, as I'm without Air, I need friends to help me be creative. A single software engineer on Maui. I like movies, theater, Improv, Shakespeare, beaches, dance, Hana and much more. I tend to go my own way, and need to be asked (or invited) before I'll play with others. But once invited (or invoked), I become a constant source of energy and inspiration.
Some might call me "Love Shy", as I can't read intentions of others, and therefor don't behave as expected, not picking up on "hints".
Intimacy is difficult to begin, (as I won't know to start it), but once started, it tends to go very far & deep quickly.
I'm curious about life, but as a lurker, I often need to be pulled into new experiences. Tribe is nice as there are so many affinity groups, one can almost taste ways of being.
It's been an amazing year, so many friends and acquaintances have left our island paradise.
I've had my first real job in 6 years.
Started opening up to my loving / fun sadistic side.
And now my favorite astrologer (Rollin Frost) is predicting hurricanes for all of Hawaii this year.
Charlie Rose on PBS is talking about Depression. Lots of folks are scared. I had breakfast out this morning, and there was no one there. It's wild. The young waitress (the lovely Meg), said that her father advised her to stay on Maui as it wasn't going to be any better on the mainland.
I keep asking the universe, should I leave, or stay, I keep getting back that it's my choice, I'll survive either way. I miss my friends. I know that's part of the flow on Maui, but it's hard to let go and move on...
