Misanthropy
(blog entry)
It rules my existence. I am at odds with the majority. Hate, betrayal, anomosity. Why this hard edge? What is it about humanity that so disgusts me? Is it the rampant waste and environmental destruction? Is there ANY hope? Can there be any hope fo...

The time has come for radical change. Currently, the human race is setting up itself and the rest of the life on this world for extinction. The production of fossil fuels, especially crude oil, has peaked or will in the next decade. What this mean...

It rules my existence. I am at odds with the majority. Hate, betrayal, anomosity. Why this hard edge? What is it about humanity that so disgusts me? Is it the rampant waste and environmental destruction? Is there ANY hope? Can there be any hope for humanity? Currently we stand on the brink of a major catastrophe. Several, in fact. Peak Oil, climate change (global warming), economic meltdown (sub-prime mortgages, derivatives, hedge funds, CDOs, etc), turmoil in the Middle East, etc, etc, etc. ...

After my words and pictures have completed their roles, perhaps I have affected you, the audience. Perhaps you have been changed, altered or in some way moved to think again about humanity. Is this civilization what we want? We have used up billions of years of stored solar energy in a matter of a century. On the time scale of the life of a single human being, not much change can affect the whole, as there are billions of humans. The history of the oil age will be the shortest of all human hi...

There is no immortality. Fossil records of ancient flora, fauna and civilization provide evidence for physical immortality. The matter contained in fossilized remains is in the shape of the former animal or plant, but is composed of mostly replaced material. Fossils remain for millions of years, showing vast age. Geologic exploration has revealed layers of the earth reaching deep for many more years in the past, showing the crust of the planet as being older still. The molten rock mantle and ...

Environmental communities have collectively come together to create naturally correct human habitation schemes in the past. The difference from the 1970s movement and the near future of humankind today is there will be a significantly larger need for the majority to survive on these schemes. They will have no choice without cheap oil. Gardening skills will be invaluable. Any person or group of people who can effectively maintain a source of water, grow enough food to eat, live in efficient ho...

The time has come for radical change. Currently, the human race is setting up itself and the rest of the life on this world for extinction. The production of fossil fuels, especially crude oil, has peaked or will in the next decade. What this means for us is disaster. The entire structure of industrialized civilization is based on cheap oil. Therefore, production peak means demand for oil will exceed supply and will never reverse. When oil begins to become expensive and less readily available...

about me
Born in Texas, failed to acquire the accent. I can fake it though. Moved to all different cities in the DFW area including Arlington, Irving, Duncanville, DeSoto, Denton, Fort Worth, Everman and Dallas. Went to different locations of the Dallas County Community College, including Mountain View and Northlake. Went to University of North Texas for a Bachelor of Fine Art. Expelled for low GPA. Got into computers and on-the-phone work and ended up doing that for 10 years. Worked for Microsoft, MSN, Andersen Consulting, Gateway, Earthlink, TiVo and T-Mobile. Recently sold or gave away the majority of my stuff like CDs, electronics, 35mm camera and lenses, motorcycle gear and clothes. Moved out and went to Burning Man for the 6th time and now I'm staying in Berkeley, CA with my sisters. Moved back to Texas, went to United Bicycle Institute in Ashland, Oregon. Received my Certifications for Bicycle Mechanics, Wheelbuilding and Suspension. Started working at Bicycles, Inc. in Bedford, Texas. GREEN-COLLAR JOB

I witnessed a piece of Lev's soul, come roaring out on a starry night.
I will always honor that roar. And remember it's melody.

The bestest bro ever (my only bro, but still). I love his bear hugs. He has inspired me to be myself. He always brightens up a room. He makes me laugh so much it hurts. He is really out there with his ideas and thoughts and I love that about him. He is not afraid to show emotion. He is the most caring and considerate person I know. I am always amazed by his awareness. I am so happy to be so close to him and to have him as a role model and just a fun guy to be around.
