It’s a tough reality that not all kids are given the same opportunities. Monarch School works closely with the community and the San Diego County Office of Education to change that. They provide an accredited education to homeless and at-risk kids while caring for basic needs such as health care, food, clothing and personal hygiene. Your help can make a difference.

I meet so many people and I like the fact that we come from so many walks of life! I love every time I meet someone and learn something new about them. I remember when I first met Taco Ghost. Because I am the world's greatest musician as well as the number one rated singer/songwriter of all time, I had little faith in this strange newcomer to the music scene. I decided to take a chance on this as-yet-unknown Apache singing sensation. I had read that he had been knocking them dead in the lounges of Indian casinos, but could he stand up to pressure of the big time?
We recorded a single, "Christmas Junk", a masterful and touching holiday tune of our own design. His lyrical enthusiasm allowed me to concentrate on just being a musician, instead of also having to perform some world class singing of my own. As amazing as I thought I was as a musician, when this half-mad Apache Brave started singing I was able to concentrate just on my playing, which showed me that I was even more incredibly talented than I had thought originally. The song became a number one hit, and Taco Ghost and I still keep in touch, meeting at underground pit-bull fights, no-questions-asked bathhouses, and remote Pachinko parlors. If the world is lucky we will reunite in the studio to record another timeless classic. January 28, 2008
