This is my mom and I love her. She is loving and caring, I am very encouraged by her and her work. She has a sharing heart and she encourages unity all around her. She's politically savy and when she does art, it's totally wonderful. She also gardens and she's good at it, even with as little resources as she has and the landscapers giving her trouble alot. Wonderful women I am proud to call my mom.

about me
hilights: lost my mom at age 10; had to fight the state to keep my firstborn -- because I was single the 'powers that be' wanted to take her away from me but I prevailed; reared three children, mostly as "single"or in non-traditional relationships; built a corporation to help support other moms of limited means during those years of 24/7 mom-ness; training and experience as a paralegal w/solid experience at helping folks through various administrative hearings for 20 years; experienced with "affordble" housing rules including lobbying in California; been homeless WITH my children five times since 1982; still angry about the gap and disparity between economic classes -- and the ever-growing, needless suffering in the U.S; have done all kinds of jobs during past 38 years -- best at interviewing people, focused or business writing, large-group food prep; saved from disabling allergies and asthma by the internet -- much more to learn!
