"LIFE SHRINKS OR EXPANDS IN PROPORTION TO ONE'S COURAGE" - Anais Nin
Love this song
To explore the secrets of becoming a wildly disciplined, fiercely tender, ironically sincere, scrupulously curious, aggressively sensitive, blasphemously reverent, lyrically logical, lustfully compassionate MASTER OF ROWDY BLISS.
It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for
and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.
It doesn’t interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool
for your dream
for the adventure of being alive.
It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon...
I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow
if you have been opened by life’s betrayals
or have become shrivelled and closed
from fear of further pain.
I want to know if you can sit with pain
mine or your own
without moving to hide it
or fade it
or fix it.
I want to know if you can be with joy
mine or your own
if you can dance with wildness
and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes
without cautioning us to
remember the limitations of being human.
It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me
I want to know if you can
to be true to yourself.
If you can bear the accusation of betrayal
and not betray your own soul.
If you can be faithless
and therefore trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not pretty
And if you can source your own life
from its presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure
yours and mine
and still stand at the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon,
It doesn’t interest me
to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up
after the night of grief and despair
weary and bruised to the bone
and do what needs to be done
to feed the children.
It doesn’t interest me who you know
or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand
in the centre of the fire
and not shrink back.
It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom
you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you
from the inside
when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone
and if you truly like the company you keep
in the empty moments.
Petite Flower is very rare. Her beauty, intelligence, charm is beyond compare. She will lift you when you are feeling a little blue… even though she IS blue… I am glad to have traveled 16 Hours, 840 Mile in a truck with an untested exhaust system. Two Taco Bell and one Denny’s stop. Downed gallons of Pepsi, one Snickers and two Pay Day bars just to spend they best three hours I ever had in my whole entire life!!! Am I crazy? Yes I am!!! However, that is besides the point. All I can say is that I was blessed to have met Petite Flower in person. Even if I had to eat Denny’s.
linda has been there for me more than I can possibly explain in this testimonial.
even though we've never met in person, she has been the best friend you could imagine having.
I love talking to her, cus she likes arena football.
I really dont know what else to say. I just hope she is in my life for years to come.

Linda, luck doesn't seem to be on my side, for we seem to always miss each other during my LA visits (granted this is in part due to flakiness on my part). However, you are among the coolest people I know, and if I may say so, quite attractive. You're always full of good energy and manage to liven up any discussion that would have otherwise been incredibly boring.
So, I got my first apple from a student today. I actually called my Mom to tell her about it so that she could write it in my baby book because I think it's a sort of milestone for me. I just started teaching not that long ago and I love it, but up until now, I hadn't received an apple.
I'm tired, my legs hurt and my throat hurts. I am sunburnt and happy. What a great weekend!!!!!!!! I danced my butt off to my new favorite band, Very Be Careful - both at the Friday show downtown and at Sunset Junction. As an extra added bonus, I also got to see the beautiful Mesmera dance along with my friend Donovan on drums. The best part was seeing KINKY live. Damn that guitarist is way too fine.
Hey everyone!! Check out my brother's band!! I've added it to my profile. They're called "Pachuco Jose and Los Diamantes". My brother is the sax player to the far right in the grey suit. Let me know what you think...
