about me
I'm big into partner dance. I love to teach classes and individuals, and sometimes just helping friends get on their feet. Are you gonna challenge me? 'Cuz if I don't know you, you have to work at it.

Andalu in the Mission
( local favorites » restaurants ) "Nice trendy alternative for Tapas" Generally I prefer my loud and dive-y locales - but went here for an anniversary dinner last night, and great food (in excitingly small portions) and the gal serving us was just friendly enough. Plus they have white-wine sangria, which is excitin... read more

Cha Cha Cha
( local favorites » restaurants ) "One of my favorite" Not a good place for talking - but the savory and filling food and sangria make it more than worth it! Something about Cha Cha Chas makes beans and rice or potatoes and creamy sauce super-special.

Jumpin' Java
( miscellaneous » computers / tech tips ) "I've been booking it to castro to go here" Free DSL, although it's all consumed by computer users now (mseylf included.) Be forewarned. The south wall is maccies. The north wall is pc-ers.

You can play it safe and sit outside the cafe (even after closing hours) and just get hooked in

Dreamweaver (trial)
( miscellaneous » computers / tech tips ) "The trial is worth using" for the 30 days you get it. There are good educational discounts too. Haven't found (with some looking) another current package that really does what I want.

Me! ( services » other ) "I do a fair degree of mac stuff" Me. I do a fair degree of mac stuff, low-end enough that I like to do it conceptually free 'cuz I'm nice. But I won't turn down a massage. Heck no.

(I'll say I only wrote this to embarrass him.)

Met Will one day while he was...um...a choppin' broc-co-lay...a choppin' broc-co-lay.

Will's one of the kindest, most considerate, and gentlest people you'd be lucky to meet in life - plus he's wicked smart and a pretty darn-good cook (Ibid.) Ironically, amongst these riches exists great inner conflict, balanced by a strong drive for personal growth and enlightenment. Makes me wonder why he let's me hang around...or lets my dog bogart space in his and Brian's bed.

Maybe he's studying me? Maybe they're BOTH studying me??

Regardless, knowing Will has made me want to be a better person - for this, I thank him.

P.S.: If you ask, maybe even if you don't, he'll teach you to dance a little.
