Bum Fishing

i once had a tent and an awesome trophy too. check this out.

so i work in the arts district in downtown Los Angeles, and as you may know, skid row is just around the corner. so i have this rental car that i'd been renting for about a month and a half and its the last day i have it.

as i'd been camping the weekend before, i still had the tent in my car in the back seat on the ground. i also had a worthless but very shiny gold colored plastic trophy on the back seat.

Sunset Junction

Its 5 a.m. and right now I’m in a funny predicament. Earlier today I was at the sunset junction streetfair in Silverlake in Los Angeles. They close down a section of sunset blvd for the weekend and put up stages and booths and its full of beautiful women. I spent the afternoon on mushrooms and booze and caring for the puppy of a good friend of mine who is out of town. I feel ridiculous

So I’m in my truck cleaning out the trash that had accumulated on the floor over the past two weeks. mostly wipees, as I can be a little obsessive about cleaning my hands throughout the day, especially after a gas station stop, flinging the spent wipees on the floor of my truck. Anyway, there I am gathering up the trash, motor still running, a/c cooling, new Wilco album pleasing my ears and heart.
