Man, That's Grapefruit!
My work INbox has just received the 25th "Race for the Cure Raffle" message. 25 emails for 25 raffles in the last week. All after the Breakfasts and Daily Snack potluck fundraisers. I've lost count of the pseudo-events and pink ribbon distros. I've given and given and then was approached to become a member of a team. Kids love Christmas. Of course they do! They can't drive, have been legislated out of factory jobs, and squeezed out of newspaper routes by weird old guys driving banged up subcompact cars. Even the lucky ones get cute little allowances which, under months of austerity measures, might just be enough for a video game. Christmas and birthdays, now that's when the tykes could cash in all the desires of their little consumerist hearts.
