The Claremont / Paragon Bar ( local favorites » restaurants ) "Paragon has great food and cocktails" I expected a restaurant at the Claremont to be fairly staid with a conventional 'upscale' menu. I was surprised by how yummy it was! The tuna tartare is great, and the cocktails excel.

Townhouse bar and grill ( local favorites » restaurants ) "One of my very favorite places" Great cocktails, wonderful food, short wait, nice atmosphere. Its a great after dinner place. I love the shrimp with chipotle aioli, and the desserts are great.

Rick & Ann's Restaurant ( local favorites » restaurants ) "Not worth the wait" I have never found the food to be worth the looooong uncomfortable wait.

Dopo ( local favorites » restaurants ) "Piazzolo on Telegraph is better" Too small, long wait, so-so service and limited menu. I still went from time to time because I do like wood-fired pizza, but now there's Piazzolo just a few blocks a way.
