I haven't been posting, or visiting here at all. I sort of feel left out because I got laid off in June, so I haven't been dancing, and I feel like an outsider on here because of that. Also, a large number of my troupe mates tried out for our directors professional troupe and are now gone, so she disbanded our amateur troupe. While I don't have the time or money to pay for classes and troupe costs at this moment, i still really miss it.
Good news is, and this is going to keep me going for the next month, I got a partial scholarship for the Mendocino Middle Eastern Music and Dance Camp!!!! I'm sooo excited!! I'm going to take zills, and Arabic singing, and all the dance classes I can squeeze in! And if I have time I might even take a swim and relax on the river bar for a minute.
I am in desperate need of a vacation, as the smoke from all the fires up here isn't allowing us to see much of the sun.
If anyone else is going let me know! I can't wait to meet all these new people with the same love of all things mid-east that I have!!
