Thousand Miles From Nowhere.

   Thu, July 26, 2007 - 11:38 PM
There's a song that Dwight Yoakam sings. "I'm a thousand miles from nowhere. Time don't matter to me. Cause I'm a thousand miles from nowhere. And there's no place I want to be". It states so perfectly how I sometimes feel when I'm out riding through the desert. Recently I took a ride to Arizona and the desolation was really appealing. It was making me be so in the moment. Something I'm terrible at.
But I really didn't have a care for a very short while. And the peace and freedom that allowed me to have was priceless.
It was like I exhaled all my cares away and was then able to breathly freely for a bit.
