there is a moment in time.. when you know that everything is perfect... there is not one thing that should be different, everything is right were it was/is meant to be and the universe and all it's inhabitants at this moment are happy and smiling it's been a week and i'm still smiling, i wonder when i might stop, when my cheeks will get tired, but i've just come to accept that this is how life is from now on... married in harmony with love and companionship. the wedding ROCKED!, it was amazing, all i had hoped for and dreamed and all that i had no idea i was dreaming of. two individuals coming together through choice with love, compassion, harmony and fun. over 300 of our friends and family joined us on this perfectly weathered day, not too bright, not too hot, not too everything.. just perfect. a group of close friends ran an amazing burning man style kitchen that fed the masses for breakfast, lunch, dinner and breakfast again, all organic, all vegan, all YUMMY music cruised the afternoon into the evening as a effigy was built to love and compassion 16 feet tall by 18feet wide, it burned with a 30 foot flame and a blazing copper heart that ignited with a flare of passion. and so much more! the whole weekend was about harmony, of friends, of love, of us and the earth, of the universe and the cosmos, of our biological family and our chosen family, of Devin and I. the days seem lighter now, in energy and in weight. there is no planning on my plate for the upcoming future, just living, breathing and enjoying this world that we live in. i love you all and thank you for being such a wonderful and inspirational part of my life.

oh seriously at this point i'm really done with these things the universe keeps throwing at me. rab most likley can't come to the wedding the videographer just backed out and my father is sick now, really sick. if i wasn't so stubborn and refusing to accept it, one would think that the universe didn't want this wedding to happen.

We have needed an extra week or so in order to carry on with the auction, tie up all loose ends, decompress a bit and compare notes. We thank you for your patience and good will. Many have expressed support and concern, and that's gone a long way towards reminding us all of why we are a community and a family. First and foremost, we want to apologize to everyone who was disappointed and/or inconvenienced on Saturday evening. We also want to extend a great big heartfelt THANK YOU to everybody who helped make it happen. Many people worked for weeks, days and hours to set up the decorations, art, video and everything else to transform the gallery into the beautiful space that it was. Obviously, we did not expect to have any problems with local police. Our past experiences with successful events—and our respect for the police and all neighbors—may have given us too much confidence about what we could do without giving offense. We were as surprised as anyone when police instructed us to shut the event down. The event was ended because the owner of the gallery did not have a business license. As promoters of this event, we were not aware of this, and to be fair, we did not ask either - after three highly successful large events, it had not occurred to us that this was the case. Despite this, we would still like to give thanks and appreciation to the gallery where we have hosted the past Entheon events. We regard this as a serious lesson, painfully learned. We feel responsible to our Entheon community for what happened, and we hope you will support us as much in a stumble as you do when we collectively triumph. All the organizers feel very badly about it, and we hope our candor combines with true community spirit to get us beyond this episode with confidence in ourselves, and optimism for the future. We should also comment upon how the end of the event unfolded. As sorry as we were for what was being required of us, we could not have been more proud of our participants and artists. As a community, we could not have handled the reverse with more dignity or grace. Artists who had created and toiled for weeks stood down with amazing style. We would SERIOUSLY like to thank all who were in attendance!! How the participants and the artists responded to this event being canceled clearly averted potential catastrophe. The police on the scene were well equipped and prepared for resistance and stupidity- this is not what they saw. Those who were in attendance offered the police total respect, kind words- and even hugs and flowers and the police responded with politeness and thanks. We all left in peace without incident. They did not search, cite, arrest, or treat anyone badly. They were under orders to enforce city ordinances. They did it as tactfully as they could, and we responded in a manner that should make us all proud of who we are. Many were able to leave in peace and continue on their activated spirits and shed their light on the city at large. The remainder of the weekend unfolded as positively as it could have, considering the circumstances. Unfortunately, the gallery that was scheduled to host the art auction the following evening annulled our agreement to use the space; however, community pulled through and found some very generous folks at a bookstore on Milwaukee which opened its doors to us and we ultimately had a very successful evening. The artists that flew out to perform had an opportunity to showcase and sell their work, and we had a chance to regroup after Saturday evening. We hope you are able to look at the overall Entheon experience and share in our grief just as we laughed and danced in our triumph in the past. All the organizers feel terrible about the loss of this experience. We hope we can all collectively or individually find it in your hearts to pierce through this episode with confidence in our selves and optimism for the future. These are amazing times, and this can only be a catalyst for growth and change, not retraction, sorrow, nor fighting. despite the stress despite the chaos despite it all our roots grow deeper with every day. i woke up one morning, feeling his forehead pressed against mine my toes did a little smile true harmony, even in our sleep our souls dancing through the universe on a band of infinite intertwinement i always wonder what it would feel like to meet my partner in crime no i wonder what crime i would commit if he weren't around there is no fear i hold in bringing him into my deepest places i open my arms and heart up freely to him trust does summersaults on the tip of my tongue, jumping from me to him no fear, just inner instinct. the world has become a brighter place one i wake up to with a smile now his forehead pressed against mine it's more then love it's ultimate harmony.

Entheon Village and Arise Productions have been working hard to design a collaborative evening showcasing local and national talent in all realms of the senses. Building on the vibe, creativity and experience of Entheon Foundation in May, Convergence develops the concept of a full sensory experience even further. Showcasing the live painting of Alex and Allyson Grey along with multiple other live painters, over 18 musical artists, more performances, an outdoor area and a larger gallery space with more art work for sale and viewing pleasure, Convergence will definitely be an evening you won't want to miss. On Saturday evening, following Convergence, a silent auction will take place featuring the created artworks from previous events along with prints and originals from supporting artists to raise funds for the Entheon Village project. most of my life has been spent in water feeling it surround me the tiny molecules caressing my body as i move effortlessly through it ever since i was born, i've been by water sailing, scuba diving, crew, swimming, basically anything i was a competitive swimmer from age 5 till 22, training on average 5 hours a day in the pool. but then, i graduated and found fire for 4 years, fire has blessed my life creating new sound and movements my being had never experienced. i found a new flow that i effortlessly moved with at sacred earth for the first time i combined my 2 life long loves fire and water it was an earth shattering moment for me one that was totally spontaneous purely primal not till i was climbing onto the raft my lit fire staff in my teeth did i realize that i had just swam across the lake with fire i couldnt' stop laughing life reminded me at this moment to never forget the parts of our lives that have been part of our foundation building. never forget that which we love and are passionate about. and always try to combine them. so... fire and water... to total opposites but for me complete harmony. Harmony: for years i was a swimmer. being close to water, my grounding, my element. spending hours a day, day after day, training, being one with water feeling it flow across my body it was home i graduated left the pool moved away from water and discovered fire for the last 4 years i have been a fire spinner being close to fire, my grounding, my element spending many days learning and respecting this new element developing a relationship. feeling the heat of fire against my skin the sound carressing my ears it has been home this past weekend i delved deep into the water feeling it's embraces again hugging my body remembering what home felt like this past weekend i moved solid and knowingly with fire feeling it's warmth and strength fueling my body remembering with this old friend and i have in common this past weekend i brought my friend and my home to meet each other allowing them to dance together fueling each other with warmth and flow

love is where i have gone looking and feeling new realms of the universe seeing my heart and mind split into a purple and gold glow radiating with light and energy. many use the word soulmate without knowing what it means i too have this word come into my mind as i look at him wondering how can one ever put this understanding into any one word without even touching, i feel his light fingers running up and down my arm he enters the room and the back of my neck feels like tiny whispers have danced across it with a little kiss at the end yet he is still at the door... i have awoken from a deep slumber or several months of purging, dieing, releasing and growing to open my eyes to a beautiful world that so many people share with me. somewhere along that journey we discovered each other locking in the deep embraces of infinity

i feel like it's the calm before the storm things, while not totally smooth, the waters still rippling there is that feeling of calmness.. where everything has sorta taken a stand to just be but man, i know that the shit is about to hit the fan it's tuesday, that means 4 days till the event. 4-days of pulling it all together, fitting in all the last pieces and making that big huge push for the last part. i keep crossing my fingers and then laughing. this isn't an event to cross my fingers and just hope, it's an event to MAKE, to DO, to participate not spectate. but stilll i cross my fingers

that feeling of being more awake and alive has never been stronger in my life. my feet feel grounded, my sense of being has a foward movement with clarity in my vision. i wonder where i have been the last 8 months of my life? living in a world in which i was fighting and struggling the whole time, bog down by a weight that i couldn't shake and didn't even know what it was. i feel free again. free to be whole, to shine from the inside outwards, free to love and share, free to learn and educate. no longer do i feel the need to cling to protectiveness, worrying, being scared. instead i feel the urge to stand up straighter, to look people more in the eye, to embrace all those around me for who they truely are and who i truely am and how we, as people, as a community, interact,work,build,discover,grow,live,experience, together. i feel as if i've just awoken from a deep slumber, to the bright beautiful sunshine.
