We need your help to improve child survival around the world. Despite significant progress in children's health over the past few decades, 25,000 children under five years old still die from mostly preventable causes each day. With the current global financial crisis, vulnerable newborns and young children face greater challenges than ever.

A PLACE: to learn, share how you are helping & to learn NEW news + learn more ways, that you can can help: GET & GIVE encouragement! ;)* Can you think of the last conflict or disagreement you had with someone? Whether or not you can clearly recall what it was about, its likely that you can recall how you felt. This is because the seeming cause of many conflicts – the unkept promises, the misunderstandings or the missed appointments – these are not really what’s at the heart of the matter. Whenever there is a conflict, there is something subtle that takes place. Many people know they feel upset, or angry, but they fail to... read more Gathering facts on recycling paper can be fun. Here is some paper recycling trivia: For every ton of paper that is recycled, about 3 cubic yards of landfill space is saved. In 2005, nearly fifty percent of the paper used in the United States was recycled into new paper products instead of being sent to the landfill. Today, recovered paper supplies over 40 percent of the total fiber needed to produce U.S. paper products. Almost all the paper manufactured in Europe and the... read more

LisAnne is, without a doubt, one of the most engaging people I have had the pleasure to interact with on Tribe Net. I must say, LisAnne, we miss your participation for all your pet causes which you are so passionate about in the Activists Forum.... most important of which is the stem cell research issue. I hope you'll find the time to come back in the near future. You are truly a breath of fresh air.

LisAnne's boundless energy, frequent expressions of optimism, will to fight forward, and tireless documentation and communication is a constant lesson and a comfort to me. I am extremely grateful for her presence on this network.

An intelligent, kind, passionate and dedicated woman, with a big heart set in to make a difference with the stem cell research, and raising political awareness in all of us.
We need more women like you. G-mo October 30, 2007
For you, darling.
Every so often the mind centers itself in what was an elusive truth. The distractions of life disappear, the wonderful dust settles around you, and the oceanic motions of life seem to pause instantaneously in their place and then vanish. Suddenly an honest vision of clarity appears. It is through this focused lens of tangible tranquility that you can gaze upon LisAnne's inner radiant qualities in awe. Beyond your control, they leash your attention, and powerfully display obvious characteristics of this person's noblest qualities. Qualities fueled by enough inner fire-integrity that they are actually noticeably changing the world. It is like a large neon light in the cafe window that was once dark, is suddenly flickering on, and then is beaming at full glow with the accompanied hum. Everyone around can see it, and the message is more than understood. But only the brave can respond. In the moments of enjoyably intense feeling I've shared with LisAnne, we have journeyed on a path to a place most don't know exists. Our emotionally exploratory expression of an appreciatory and at times...dare I say, romantic... manner are impacting enough to leave a lasting impression of a smile on my lips through the entire day. Get to know this woman! ~ManofBliss~ July 13, 2007
