i am ashamed it has taken me a year and a half to write a testimonial for this incredible man.

nick can do anything. i've seen it. anything he wants to create, he can, and DOES- and that action and integrity makes him even more amazing. i was so intimidated by nick when i first moved into his house, my first home in portland, and yet more than anything, i was totally fascinated. Take stunning wit and intellect, throw in a dash of quirk, some silver platforms, a heaping dose of empathy and compassion, a sweetness that's tangible, and the most beautiful sense of joy in the darndest, weirdest, most wonderful slices of life... and you get Nick, the Artist, the Dreamer, the Tinkerer, the Creative Force, and a man i admire and adore.
now my hope is that some day i will make it on his "top cool kids" list so that i can get a birthday present made by him. he makes the bestest presents ever.
