Gadget is the type of guy who grabs the bull by the horns. He can always be counted on to deliver and follow through. I like our friendship and find my time with him is fun, sincere, and warm. He is a great listener and also a great motivator. He is comfortable both as an indian and a chief. If I am ever in a tight spot he is on my short list of first calls.

This fellow gets us going, inspires the SD community to Do things! He dons't stand out in the crowd and crow, but if you look, he is there, quietly getting things done. Inspiring people to do things, helping create more feeling of community. I see great things ahead for all of us, because of this man.

Brady has the most genuine, friendly and mellow energy. He's always ready to help out a friend (especially with a Burning Man project). I remember seeing him after this year's burn, beer in hand, hosing off about nine playafied bikes in the yard. That's just one quick example of how he goes the extra mile for his friends, even if it involves dirty work. And he sure is fun to watch putting up a shade structure shirtless!

If you find yourself in the South Park area tonight, please stop by the Blue Foot and congratulate Bryen Beglinger on his latest art opening. The Blue Foot is on the corner of 30th and Upas. I have gotten the unanimous approval of the board for the LLC to pursue this. Here is my current draft of what I plan to say tomorrow at the City Budget Planning Meeting: The presence of the glowing fire pits dotting the beaches of San Diego are akin to the shops and markets that denote a walking neighborhood.
