Drumattic Twins - West Coast Dates Available

Looking for help to fill in a few dates of a West Coast tour for the Drumattic Twins this fall. I would appreciate any leads for west coast headz who would like to book any dates later this fall.

The Drumattic Twins stage name was the consequence of having amplified attacks of drum-machine seizures in the loft shared by Kevin Lancaster (Lanx) and Nick Slater. With over 12 years of multi-faceted producing and DJing that would ensue before they landed at Finger Lickin, their live Dex N'Fx show is not to be missed. The Drums have provided a solid breaks soundtrack of releases such as : Feelin Kinda Strange, Hyperspeed, Pumped up Funk, Twister and my fav Thinking About You.

The Twins will headline in Halloween in San Francisco, and are available for other west coast dates in November & December. Please contact for any questions or for available dates.

Thanks!
Andrea

I have been tagged by the Bamster, which means he has to go to Burning Man now that I'm writing this.

RULES - Once you've been tagged, you have to write a blog with 8 facts/things/habits about yourself, saying who tagged you. In the end you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs.

1. I once fell in a manhole cover in Romania
2. My sister just told me she is pregnant. First one in my family! We're very excited.
3. Loinquest was given to me by an ex-bf. Full name is Imana Loinquest. Other nicknames have included Druska, Drizzle, Taco, Yorki, Langosta, Scampiova, Hey Fish, Anderf, Killer, Angry-a, and my fave - aneeah!
4. I have been in 2 major car accidents since moving to CA. I was not at fault for either, my car was totalled in both, and luckiIy walked away. Although the first one I walked away, had the tow truck drop me at BART, went into the city for a party, went to a 2nd party, and ended up having a sprained ankle and I was on crutches for a month.
5. Dovedu mluvit kratky Cech a Slovak. Ja aktivni do Praha do 3 dlouha doba a castecny dvacet ctyri sedm.
6. One summer in Crete I worked on an archelogical dig and found shards from 7-5 BC.
7. I think I'm finally over my Madonna obsession, circa 2001.
8. I've lived in Minnesota, Illinois, Slovakia, Prague, Mykonos, Cape Cod (W. Falmouth), Salt Lake City and Oakland.

I tag Milkncheese, Mancub, Kyle, Myagi, dirty, JohnShim

Who else has Strep?

After an exciting post-burn trip to the ER for an IV drip, shot of penicillin, steroid shot, tetanus shot and postivie strep culture, I thought I was almost healed.

Then I went to NYC for a week, then Boston/Cape Cod for a wedding, flew back right into pre-Love Parade prep and then last weekend. Phew.

Went back to the doctor last night and tested positive for strep again (still...) Wondering who else has had strep in the past month? What is going on? Now there telling me I can't talk!!

I don't think it is actually possible to have any more fun this year. Are you kidding me? This weekend was one of the highlights, and this year has been pretty epic.

I am constantly humbled by the amount of work and effort and talent of the Space Cowboy crew. DJs, VJs, girls girls girls. Martha, bartenders, barbie wands and glitter guns. All of the work of the crew blossomed on the steps of city hall this weekend. And your work now has the likes of int'l labels and record box fillers attention.

I'm not a raver, I'm not a club girl. Just a spoiled brat who is extremely lucky and very very exhausted.

Thanks San Francisco!

I think people should look at blogs similar to how they look at DJ sets. Once this thing goes public, its pretty much history. Just like if a set is recoreded. The levels might be off, punctuation might be fucked up, but once one other person has read it there is nothing you can do. Just like a track you drop at a party that you may personally love but the entire dance floor decides to take a piss/smoke/bar break and leaves you with this build and you look up to see the masses massing and...nothing. Crap. Will anyone read this? Of course. When I come up at a party and plug my MP3 recorder into the mixer will I distribute the mix? Maybe not, but mostly it is for my pure satisfaction. And I really doubt that anyone is getting pure satisfaction from ready my morning rant. And if you are, you sick mofos, give me a call cause I got more taco nation updates for you.
First blog for me, glad I got that out of the way. ;)
