Since I'm snooping through his profile, I might as well write a testimonial for Loki. It's amazing how such a prolific poster can maintain a consistent level of brilliance, humour, and depth. I don't post much, so the relationship is very one-sided, but I would totally dry hump his leg. My husband is okay with this, as he wants to dry hump Loki's leg, too. Good thing for Loki and his leg that we live on opposite coasts. Someday you will ride bitch on my bike, baby. Oh, yeah.

I have read Lokifreign's posts and blogs now with literal mounds of appreciation. I hardly ever write any testimonials, I guess I am rather a cheapskate as far as doling out praise. But there is no more praise-worthy man on tribe. I realize that this little humble network is in its deaththroes, but if there was one person among all these crazy mofos I'd like to continue to relate to, that would be Lokifreign. Satan of Tribe was slightly behind in the photo finish. My email is... wait.. I'm not that stupid...

Magical, mystery man is how I think of Loki. He's in tune with all aspects of our world and conveys his deeply held convictions smartly. Sometimes it even smarts although I'm sure that's unintentional. His heart is as warm as his intellect is sharp. Wish I could see him on the playa this year.
June 1, 2009
I am vewy, vewy confused--get used to it.
And be sure to pass that Dutchie on the left hand side (Loki makes us jump and shout)! May 31, 2009
I think I might like you, too, asshole!
(You know you're the only tribe veteran still getting testimonials in this, the year of our Lord 2009, right?? Right!!??! May 13, 2009
These testimonials seem to be expressing essentially the same feelings, but using different words to try to nail what it is that makes Loki so incredibly special to all of us. But I believe that doesn't really matter so much. The best news is that Loki is a part of each of us, just as we are a part of him. How much better can it get than that?

Loki gets a big old Gold Star from me.
His "about me" blurb reads: "I Am Good." That says it all. February 23, 2009
loki is a very brave person. he is open with his emotions in ways that terrify me, yet i admire him for it. it is a kind of honesty to strive for. and he loves his wife. i like that.
February 11, 2009
challenging and exasperating in the very best ways.
i'm inspired to mother him and hand over my riding crop all at the same time, but mostly, i want to give him my undivided attention. January 4, 2009
Loki, the trickster God.
He shall deliver us all from the terrible Ragnarok, in this age of the twilight of the Gods. We shall dwell with him in the stars, in this dark hour. As foretold in the prophecy of the Völva It sates itself on the life-blood of fated men, paints red the powers' homes with crimson gore. Black become the sun's beams in the summers that follow, weathers all treacherous. Do you still seek to know? And what? Brothers will fight and kill each other, sisters' children will defile kinship. It is harsh in the world, whoredom rife —an axe age, a sword age —shields are riven— a wind age, a wolf age— before the world goes headlong. No man will have mercy on another December 22, 2008
i love u Loki!

FAUSTUS: Where are you damned?
MEPHASTOPHILIS: In Hell. FAUSTUS: How comes it then that thou art out of hell? MEPHASTOPHILIS: Why this is hell, nor am I out of if. Think'st thou that I, who saw the face of God, and tasted the eternal joys of heaven, am not tormented with ten thousand hells in being deprived of everlasting bliss? FAUSTUS: [Then] scorn those joys thou never shalt posses. September 17, 2008

loki has been my tribefriend for oh so briefly and yet, just the few things i've read that his written and the images he posts with them, causes me to wonder WTF there isn't a button to press at this place that says "best of tribe" just in general. i mean, HTF can one categorize such a p.a. (psychic advisor)... i mean, such a p.a. (public address system).... i mean, is anybody listening? does anybody really know what time it is? i have so many questions. another one would be: how can you read loki's blog and not comment? seriously, p.m. me and tell me. i want to know!

Some people, you just see them.
There's nothing visual about it; Loki is the guy you think about later, after you've stopped feeding the trolls and taking things too personally, and after your hard drive crashes and you are offline for at least a week until your favorite geek friend can patch you up and get you tribing again. You might be feeling that stupid little burn behind your eyes that reminds you that you can't really get through another 20 minutes without checking your messages or nursing your threads... but after all that superficial tribe-addiction silly-ness passes, (it will, really. Breathe deep, now...) you will be picking through tomatoes at the Piggly Wiggly one otherwise uneventful afternoon, and a checker will call for a price check on Q-tips, and the song they are piping in will sound a lot like "Sweet Caroline" but not quite, and you'll think of Loki, and you'll have this need to know what's happening in his world. And that's how it really begins. Just breathe deep, now. He'll always be with you. Don't fight it.

Soft soft soft talk. Fairness in excelsius, all togetherness and equality, respect for everyone’s feelings (of course these concepts were made for excellent bromides rather than effective policies or behavioral norms). Everybody gets respect. Everybody's right in their own way. Bullshit sixties activism is like sweet honey. But they ain’t gettin’ me a job with Warner Brothers. I was supposed to have been a teacher or a lawyer by now, on their plan - no: I won’t help this system survive so aggressively as that. I won’t spend the rest of my life toiling for crap. I won’t sell out my worthless ideals. You see, when I think of a BUM, I prefer to think of a shark in a suit slamming shooters in a strip joint instead of a mentally deranged homeless person. No one wants to be a homeless person - everyone wants to get comped. Fuck fuck fuck shitbag, fuckers. Jesus Fucking Christ. GOD~ I AM TRULY AWESOME!
A more striking man never existed in our ranks. The eyes that looked simultaneously away from, as well as directly at one, the long blonde hair tangled into barbarian’s twigs, the long and crooked teeth that menaced one whenever his queer laughter erupted, well; lesser individuals could not long be in his company without feeling a creeping chill across their backs and necks. There was an element to his manner that suggested he might be capable of all sorts of mayhem. Of course we who surround...
