for me, laura lamar is the most amazing person that ever walked this whole entire planet. no. i will fight you on this. she's fucking amazing. she gets not only my 20'yroldangst but also the real world "who am I " lament that we'veall dealt with. If I were less drunk I'm sure my tribute would be consisting of more elegance than angst, but as it stands, laura lamar is the most amazing person that ever walked this earth, and i dare you to prove me other wise.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to write Lola a testimonial. Geesh. She's got a wicked sense of humor, she's totally fun...and she's one of the hippest Moms I know. She's someone I am supremely jealous of at times (she's got the best clothes and a tall lean bod to hang 'em on, a new house in Pacifica, AND a baby girl to be), but I still really frickin' like her a whole bunch and I'm honestly way more happy for her than I am jealous, so it's all good!

What to say about this girl? Anyone who knows her instantly loves her. To say she's got good mojo is an understatement. how do i put into words the sweet sensation of lola?... she has all the charm and wit of a thousand bass players... she calls it like she sees it... and has some of the best music sense known to those freaks we call 'Man'... laura is a gift, the absolute prize....i am honored to have her in my life... i just wish i had more of her....

Laura and I shared a locker in High School and did that whole tech crew thing (the perfect spot for the freaky kids who didn't want to go home after school). Definitely one of my favorite people growing up - we used to get into trouble at school for writing each other notes during boring classes. And should have gotton into more trouble during stage crew because we were definitely goofing off! Like throwing rocks at sports teams. And, yes Mrs. McCarey, we did have keys to roof and you can't do anything about it now!

paul's buddy thinks it's golden boy in north beach but i can't seem to find any lore to back that up. 
i'm so proud of her. and excited! her show is on now and will be on every saturday night from 10pm to midnight on kcsc radio (available on itunes in the radio/eclectic).
