This morning I was getting some espresso from the fancy espresso maker in the breakroom at work, and I was pondering about how lucky I am to be working for Austrians. Case in point: Fancy European espresso makers in the management breakroom.

OK. I got super jealous of those who went to Burning Man this year, and I haven't even seen people's pics yet. So 2010 I think I shall return to the playa. My wife and I are thinking about have kids in 2011, so I thin next year will be my last before I spawn and get confined to Missouri for a while. Of all the local burners I know, Loofah is one of the finest. He created the legendary sushi meet and greet in Columbia at Osaka Japanese restaurant. He's been to all the major local burns, and has made the obligatory pilgrimage to BRC. He was the creator of the HATE dome, trademarked it, and even came up with HATE bucks (which he gave out gratis) to PAY FOR DRINKS (at a no-cmmerce event....one of the 10 Principles of Burningman violated in a joke sort of way). If you don't know him, it's not a bad idea to be ready to get to know him.
Loofah is the kind of person who could change the world and make it better with his enthusiasm and humor. He's a friend and I occasionally have the pleasure of eating lunch with him in Jefferson City where we both work. Hat's off to you, bro!
