I'm slightly introverted until I get to know a person a bit better, but I really do love meeting people. If you tell me enough about yourself, there's a 99.9% chance that I'm going to find something to love about you.

I don't understand the appeal of fried pork rinds or Pixie Stix or sucking the innards out of crawdads.

I'm always pushing myself to try something new; to ask questions and seek the answers; to never stop looking at life as an adventure. Because one day (and you never know when that day is gonna come) the ride is going to end. I want to be sure I was on the big scary roller coaster that flips you upside down and makes you laugh and scream and feel your lifeforce coursing through your veins, not the placid boat ride past animatronic creatures brainwashing you through repetitive song into thinking that your world has to be a small place where everyone does the same dance step and wears pastels.

A psychic once told me that in previous lifetimes I was a rabble-rousing cowboy who died by gunfire and a dedicated frontier school teacher who never married.

If what the psychic said is true, it sure explains a lot about me this time around.
