My birthday was last week. I've reached the magic number of "60", and it is amazing actually ...

I was also thinking a lot about my mother .. she and my father divorced when I was about nine years old, and like so many nasty divorces, I ended up with not one photograph of my mother. Any photos that my father did have were cut up so that the portions that included my mother in them were missing....

I do have a lot of memories of her, starting at about 4 years old until my parents parted ways ...

Especially memorable were her favorite music tunes, and listening to them yesterday really hit me emotionally ...

I decided as sort of a memorial to her, to actually put together a playlist of about 40 of her favorite tunes.

These tunes are from roughly 1952 until 1959, so for some of you, will really be "oldies" ..
