I watched the show "Medium" last night. I can so relate to the main character. The main character is a medium and has dreams that direct her actions and offer her information. Last night I had a vivid dream about a house. It was being torn down around me. I was in fear for my safety but I did remain safe in the dream. The detail was intense. This morning a water pump in my home would not shut off the way it was designed to. I call a plumber for repairs. That happens tomorrow. I also received a call from the manager of my local Curves for Women. I had not been for several weeks. This time of year I am challenged with Seasonal Affective Disorder. Her message was that she miss me there. The message of the dream and subsequent events is that I need to take care of the house. My house. My body. My being. Divine intervention in the form of a dream, a phone call and a broken water pump. I get the message! I have to thank spirit. I am listening.

I went back to work today part time after being retired for 21 months. Today was a mixture of experiences. I spent some time today at Amoskeag Chiropractic. It was a great experience for me. I sat and spoke with a client of the practice about Reiki. Gave him a bit of an explaination of Reiki, explained how I provide healing and a short demonstration. He booked a 1/2 hr session with me. I sat with the doctors and staff for a staff meeting! First one in 21 months. It was fascinating to see how this office operates. There is a TriCity Business Expo on Wednesday. I will be able to market myself and represent Amoskeag Chiropractic. I love the way intention works. I told one of my former coworkers a year before I retired that I would like to work for my Chiropractor! Well, here I am doing just that. There was a funny part to my day as well. After the staff meeting was lunch for the staff. I went down the hall to get the name of my next appointment from the scheduler. This part of the office is partitioned off by a door. The gang left so fast for lunch that they locked me in! I had to knock on the door for Dr. Ed's attention. Thank Goodness that he was still in the office. I will have to share this funny story with the rest of the staff. I know that they are not used to me being in the office at that hour. It will take some time for all to adjust. Overall, the day was incredible. It felt so good to just do my thing. My years of counseling have paid off in the people skills department. I felt at ease and comfortable in talking with this gentleman about Reiki. I think I impressed the office with my ability to engage this man in conversation. I think what I am feeling the most is pride. My accumulated skills are just perfect for what I am doing now as a Reiki Master therapist. I am feeling wonderful tonight.
