I just am not here on tribe.net that much anymore, and it's gotten pretty overwhelming to me. I only just removed myself from 90% of the tribes I was on, and it wasn't easy, since I really liked all that was going on. But I just can't do them justice anymore,and I would like to ideally focus on the groups I'm still with now. And not doing a great job at that either.
So, if you invite me to join your tribe, please don't feel too bad i I don't respond. I rarely even check the invitations anymore.. I

I've been offline since March, and have been nearly overwhelmed settling into my new place here in Tucson. Hubby and I separated, are getting diorced, and this is a big relief for both of us!!! hey, we did the best we could, and after 20 years, things finally sputtered to a stop. I've worked several different jobs, since I got here in early April, and it's been a real trip, as we baby-boomers like to say;)
that's about it. Not much more.
I don't come to tribe.net much, but it's still fun to post once in a while.
Since I haven't had the recon surgery yet on my eye, I have no desire to perform, but prbably will start teaching small dance classes later in July. So far, no cancer cells have been found lurking in my body, but the one good eye is getting gnarly... a little cataract is starting, and that will have to be fixed at somepoint. I see the eye dr. this tuesday. We both will push the insurance company to okay the recon surgery, and the new prosthetic eye that I need, so I can look more like myself again.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the headaches that still kick my ass a couple of times a week.
I'm so happy to be back in Tucson again, re connecting with friends, seeing my sons again, and the grandchildren.... and I even love the heat, because that means I REALLY AM BACK IN TUSCON, and I've missed it so much. I'm certainly not lonely anymore..woo hooo!!!!!!

I'm still alive, still kickin', can't complain much. It looks like we will be moving back to Tucson around May. yep... time for some surgery, and to see my doctors, and to do god knows what else. Maybe some teaching, but it won't be like it was before. I think it would be too hard for me to gain a foothold down there. Once a space is closed up, at least for me, anyway, it's closed.
Nothing much in the way of dance happened for me up here, but I DID enjoy the one gig. Lots of hostility from another dancer and her troupe came out of that, which was a real drag. I'm always so surprised at people's paranoia about other dancers performing. It seems so odd to me. I was getting really angry e mails from her for a couple of days. Very distasteful for me.
But a lot of changes are coming down the pike for me. I'm happy about that, just to face the unknown is rather refreshing. As long as it's in Tucson:))

Hello, All: I just never got the funds to produce it, and mail it, so this is the end of the line for me. I waited a long time for the basic info, and although I now have it, the key ingredient, funds, were never transferred over to me. It's not economically feasible for me to do this on my own. Well, I won't go into a long explanation, let me just say this got too iffy for me.
But thank you to all of you who have supported me in this.
