During the early morning of AfterBurn..I managed to get off the bus and had already fallen in the snow twice..My mind in its altered state was refusing to cooperate with my body. Just as I stumbled into the snow for third time, I friendly hand reached out to lift my from the ground...Ludo's hand!! My actual party nighy may have been tame, but I gained something more valuable than a night of partying. I gained a dear friend who I know will pick me up when I fall. Ludo has been my Guardian Burner from day 1...

there are some people that in the tone of there voice the timber of there thoughts you can tell a river runs deep. Deep care deep thought deep comitment and deep calm passion. I do not tend to choose passionless friends and in Ludo that rings true no greater passion can you find than a person who sees in all things in life the beauty with the pain and in the end the worth of it all. He has a smile that lights wa;lkways for others and arms big enough to hug the tinest soul. In the short time that I have known Ludo, he has very quickly found himself very high on my list of people I think are very special; who I care about. He's talented, kind, considerate, gentle, generous. He works his butt off and is always doing something interesting. He's an amazing dad - sharing unique aventures with his kids, and takes the time to feed his own soul as well. He is a gentleman.
When I added Ludo to my friends list, my request was simple, "Ludo...friend?" and I am ever so glad he said yes!

Back in '06, this poor shmuck walked into Spikes Vampire Bar WITHOUT A CUP! Before the badass bartender would grant this dweeb a drinking vessel, he had to make out with an RV for a full 10 minutes! (Amazing what some people will do for a paper cup full of box wine... I mean BLOOD!)

I was recently contacted by Tus Nua Camp (Gaelic for New Beginning). They are 50 lads and lasses coming over from the Emerald Isle herself to bring some good celtic craic to the playa. They are placed at 3:00 and Birthday. On Friday, they will be hosting an Irish Wake, and they would love it if some of the talented musicians in our community would come by to lent their lilting strains to the festivities.
