He maybe tall. He maybe red. And he maybe furry. But he's one of the most friendliest, loyal, lovable and generous creatures you will ever meet. I am so blessed to have Ludo as my friend. Thank you so much for everything. And never change my friend. Stay Cool! :-)

You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are gray
You'll never know dear
How much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away...
thanks for always being such a great friend...

Ludo
there are some people that in the tone of there voice the timber of there thoughts you can tell a river runs deep. Deep care deep thought deep comitment and deep calm passion. I do not tend to choose passionless friends and in Ludo that rings true no greater passion can you find than a person who sees in all things in life the beauty with the pain and in the end the worth of it all. He has a smile that lights wa;lkways for others and arms big enough to hug the tinest soul. He is tall enough to fit through the smallest crack in ones willingness to let him in and quiet enough to be heard.
I respect you dear friend
may you wander and never be lost

In the short time that I have known Ludo, he has very quickly found himself very high on my list of people I think are very special; who I care about. He's talented, kind, considerate, gentle, generous. He works his butt off and is always doing something interesting. He's an amazing dad - sharing unique aventures with his kids, and takes the time to feed his own soul as well. He is a gentleman.
When I added Ludo to my friends list, my request was simple, "Ludo...friend?" and I am ever so glad he said yes!

Ah, my dearest Ludo… where to begin!? This is a man of fine wit, excellent taste, magnificent stature and above all a noble heart. He is a master storyteller and divine conversationalist. I could sit and drink Guinness after Guinness with Ludo until the end of time. Alas, some 3000 miles now separate my dear friend and I, and so I must wait patiently until our annual reunion on the Playa.

I've always believed the old saying "Ya gotta eat a peck of dirt before you die!" Now, it seems that doing so will help you live longer!
Thanks Mike

At 7:44 this morning EDT the sun passed over the equator, signaling the vernal equinox. SPRING IS HERE!!!
So why, when I looked out of the window of my gym, did I see SNOW???? Apparently Old Man Winter neglected to read his eviction notice. Hit the road, Grandpa!!
Some will say that this hasn't been a bad Winter. That is an illogical statement! "Bad Winter" is redundant! Winter is where the heat isn't! That, in Ludo's Lexicon of common words, is what "Bad" means - Not enough heat! Why ...

The city of Coatesville had it's 13th case of arson so far this year. Fifteen homes were damaged or destroyed this time, with dozens of people now homeless. Considering that this is the 26th of January, that's a fire every other day. Police already arrested three suspects in December. They are still in custody, So the fires of '09 are either the work of copycats, or they are part of a gang initiation, or the cops have the wrong guys.
I live just outside of Coatesville, in Westwood, a block...

Some days, you really have to look hard. But it's there.
I was teaching a class today. After lunch, one of my students didn't return. He had been laid off - him and 399 others, including 4 friends I had worked with for ten years or more.
After work, I was walking to the service station to pay $200 to get my van back, so that I could drive to the podiatrist and figure out why this one toe keeps hurting. With a family history of diabetes, this is not something you ignore. On the way, I di...
