as we mounted the massive machines of the construction site in the middle of the street the crowd ascended and grew thick and we played the music of Victory. The band began to fill out and we sank into a triumphant version of a gospel tune we do called "Rise UP". as we sang the chorus i looked around and realized that we had never celebrated in this way before. i'd like to start a bit of dry and perhaps sarcastic yet in-good-fun and light-hearted dialogue about these new little animated figures everyone's rocking. Warrior brother, magic man. Luke dives deep into the spaces most wont even touch and brings back the most beautiful music to share. And his music is so luscious, sexy and yummy. There are few words to describe what a profound effect this fella has had on my soul, as my friend and in my growth as a woman. I thank Luke for the love and honesty he has offered me, for the divine and intense reflection he has shared and the refreshing goofy childhood spirit he embodies. I commit to love him and support him throughout our friendship, as I trust he will always do the same. Luke is priceless.

A beautiful and complex man- a gypsy at heart, a composer by nature, a craftsman by trade, a musical genius by birth. Luke does it all. He has shown me depths of the mind, body, and soul connection I could not fathom. Always enlightened in his presence...He is a gift to all those around him. He has concocted his potion, stirring the pot with inspiration, thought, kindness, and compassion. A solid man-lost in perfection. If you have heard his music, it speaks his truth. This poem reminds me of him; "Patience. In this there is no measuring with time, a year doesn't matter, and ten years are nothing. To be an artist means; not numbering and counting-but ripening like a tree, which does not force its sap, and stands confidently in the storms of spring, not afraid that afterward summer may not come. It does come. But only to those who are patient, who are there as if eternity lay before them, so unconcernedly silent and vast". -Rilke. I am grateful to know this humble, talented, intelligent being.
