Especially on New Years day. (default world, or after Burn night).

There's something so exillarating about it. Be it at Singularity, Burning Man, or when i used to sky dive (or on the way there or back from those events) or more often for me, thru-out the year -- coming back from working the Live Wire Neon vendor booth at all night dance parties.

Theres a feeling of just me in the world with the inevitable dawn building up to the sun bursting forth, and only happiness and newness.
And anticipation.
It feels miraculous, and frees up all my burdening grown- up thoughts for a brief time. I get a glimse of something greater, a zen moment of bliss when everything in creation makes sense -- even realizing that this experience will be forgotten with the days duties, only to re occur at some other sunrise.
Its a moment when I take nothing for granted, and just drink it in. It's coming, and there's nothing you can do about it, so enjoy the beginning, every time.
