I couldn't believe after a 2 day long jury selection, I was chosen to be juror #1 for 20 seconds in the second round of selections. Before my ass even hit the seat, I was dismissed by the lawyers representing the defendant(s). This trial involved an asbestos lawsuit. And if anybody knows me, I truly believe it is our duty as U.S. citizens to fulfill our civil obligations.
