"I feel there is an angel within me whom I am constantly shocking." - Jean Cocteau (1889-1963) French Writer, Filmmaker, Artist A human action becomes genuinely important when it springs from the soil of a clear-sighted awareness of the temporality and the ephemerality of everything human. It is only this awareness that can breathe any greatness into an action. ~ Václav Havel |
I check into Tribe every few days, but for a long while this site has been a ghost town. There are too many profiles and tribes around here that are either inactive or completely dead Some tending to the communal garden needs to happen...

Bunny is a gem. Like a precious stone, her true value is hidden in her many deep facets. Sometimes inscrutable, on the surface she's cute, fun loving, sexy and capable, but dig a little deeper and you'll find a warm and caring friend, a penetrating mind, a wise counsel, a rapier wit and a heart of gold. Of all the people I know, Bunny is one of the ones I treasure the most.

I'd say she can move elegantly and swiftly between
- being a fine wine and a double shot of tequila - between faux fur and the best silk, - a great hike or a nice snuggle, - more than best of kin, but way less than a nosy relative - better than a good beat ...and a great friend that I hold close to my heart and would push the world off a cliff for if I EVER got "that phone call" Love ya Kbun... I don't know how she does it. Work, commute, frolic, make brilliant costumes with rose petals and dance all night without stopping! I love her insatiable curiosity for life.

The girl is Snow Bunny Miss K
On the slopes or the Playa she'll play She takes life in big bites, And often delights, Us all with her wry repartee.
Walk in the rain, jump in mud puddles, collect rocks, rainbows and roses, smell flowers, blow bubbles, stop along the way, build sandcastles, say hello to everyone, go barefoot, go on adventures, act silly, fly kites, have a merry heart, talk with animals, sing in the shower, read childrens' books, take bubble baths, get new sneakers, hold hands and hug and kiss, dance, laugh and cry for the health of it, wonder and wander around, feel happy and precious and innocent, feel scared, feel sad, feel mad, give up worry and guilt and shame, say yes, say no, say the magic words, ask lots of questions, ride bicycles, draw and paint, see things differently, fall down and get up again, look at the sky, watch the sun rise and sun set, watch clouds and name their shapes, watch the moon and stars come out, trust the universe, stay up late, climb trees, daydream, do nothing and do it very well, learn new stuff, be excited about everything, be a clown, enjoy having a body, listen to music, find out how things work, make up new rules, tell stories, save the world, make friends with the other kids on the block, and do anything else that brings more happiness, celebration, health, love, joy, creativity, pleasure, abundance, grace, self-esteem, courage, balance, spontaneity, passion, beauty, peace, relaxation, communication and life energy to...all living beings on this planet.
Oh, I have to disagree with this. Wherever you find God.. I say....... Hallelujah!!

As a taxpayer, do I really want to spend energy and money trying to recover the $165 million paid out to AIG executives? My answer is no.. and here's why. Let's start with the numbers: 170 billion bailout to AIG 165 million payout to AIG executives (73 people were paid out) How do these two numbers relate to each other? Here they are in long form: 170,000,000,000 bailout 165,000,000 payout Let's use a little math trick and cut off equal number of zeroes from both numbers, we'll take off 6 zeroes. 170,000 165 Let's use another math trick and move the decimal point the same number of spaces, we'll move it two 1700.00 1.65 If you gave someone $1,700 because you thought you were helping them and they spent $1.65 on a diet coke that they then gave to someone else - how upset would you really be? How much time and money will be spent in trying to get this money back from the people that were paid these bonuses? How much in legal fees will be incurred when they turn around and try and sue for the money back? I'm not saying that the bonus payments were wrong - I strongly believe they were. And I question the morals of anyone who would accept a million dollars for failing to do their job. I wonder how well they can really enjoy their money. And how they sleep at night. But honestly... this is a distraction from bigger problems we are facing. The news agencies report the facts and harp on the numbers - they are providing fuel for the torches they've placed in our hands. Politicians are trying to hand us what they think is a pitchfork - touting ways to try and tax the money back into the govt. pockets. It's not about the money paid out. That is gone. And trying to get the money back will only cost us more money. The spotlight of focus needs to be turned to acts of fraud - and possible prosecution for these acts. Otherwise, we are just chasing down.... www.youtube.com/watch
If winds of change blow through your life, it's wise to hoist up the main sail quickly to grab the power that will take you to new adventures, places and states of being. Things that would otherwise hold you back, will have to be left behind. People, places, thoughts, ideas, practical things you can hold in your hands and intangibles that you've always tried to grasp.

There will be collateral damage. Attachments, emotions, commonalities to place and time are the strings which tie these things to you - to your current place, position or state of being. Or, rather they are the strings you use to tie them up with. Emotional bondage. A strong wind will rip the attachments from you, but sometimes it is a strong will that is needed to reach over and cut the strings with a good, strong effort - allowing you to move forward freely. All you need is to find the right cutting implement... or incident. So.. who cleans up the debris? We do. Whenever we encounter someone who feels they don't belong in this world, a new person in town, is lacking strength, is down on their luck, or is a victim of life's unexpected circumstances - whatever it is, we bring them close and say.. you have a home here - with us. You can be part of our family. Sometimes we create little bubbles of safety in the midst of winds trying to blow everything down. We open space for those hurt and wanting. We show them that they have strength and hope, and encourage them to stand on their own feet - owning the ground they stand upon. We love, we cherish, we commit to caring for one another - watching out for everyone's well being. We celebrate life - we dance, sing, laugh and hug each other to pieces. We accept. We judge not. We open our eyes and our hearts. We make mistakes. We learn lessons. We know that everyone learns and grows. We forgive and love again. We live and learn. I love my extended family ~!! dusty hugs.... bunny
