<div>That's right, my birthday....
What you need to do is make me happy, that's all I'm asking for. I want to see YOU! Shakin your booty! To help me celebrate what kinda feels like an over the hill (26?!?)

On Saturday April 12th, I'll be at this sweet little location,

Lo-Fi, at 429 Eastlake Ave E, Seattle, it's just north of the big REI along the freeway downtown.

Should be some rockin soul and good times. (They also have great funk, blues, and jazz other nights if you're looking)

OH! and while I have your attention, I like sending post cards and I want an address update from you, my lovelies. Please update me!

G'day to you  : )

<div>Hello out there in tribe land,

January is a new year and new stuff for me all over my world. And one part of it is, I'm looking for a new work environment! I love my job but need something that can be more flexible with my (NEW!!) school schedule and life.

Night time?  evenings?

I have experience and am looking for jobs
---working with kids, as a TA or a Nanny
----as a yoga teacher in class or private sessions
----in a kitchen/restaurant, cooking, serving, catering, all of the above

I can do anything, and I'm really good at it. I would like to get moving in this new work thing early/ mid December, so if you hear of anything, please tell me!

I'll be sending out a yoohoo later as well.

be well and enjoy the many shades and shadows of fall

help, I'm a computer Neanderthal

<div>and evidently I can't spell Neanderthals, (thank you spell check)

So here is the deal. My rat has a very inconvenient hobby of chewing on things, bless his little ratty soul, it more often than not is something obnoxiously important. Like the powerchord to my laptop.

After a bit of sorting through random numbers and letters, I think I found (my mom found) a replacement. I plugged it in, it looked like it was charging, I said YAH!, and went off to work. I think I turned it off (?)

when I came home today, with the warm glow of possibilities on the horizon with my freshly charged laptop, I was disappointed to find that it wouldn't turn on! not a beep, not a flash, nothing. It is still plugged into the new powerchord.

Somebody help! Is it possible the new chord sucked the rest of the charge out? Or maybe it died (for somereason) and I have to wait until it is completely recharged? I dunno.

Alright. If you or a friend you could direct me to could help me I can offer any number of things to exchange for. A personal yoga hour/ sequence designed to your needs, fresh baked goods, a head rub, the good stuff, possibilities are quite unlimited.

As a final note, I GRADUATED! I am now officially a certified yoga teacher, and I will hopefully be starting my first official yoga class at a YMCA, and who knows what else.

Love and light and computer compliance to you

It is on Thursday Oct. 11th. at 7pm.

I won't be able to make it, unfortunately, but I wanted someone to enjoy!

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/lydiaisa/blog/a3310ea1-063e-44fa-8fbd-c7848225df89">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/8cb/86c/8cb86cd6-4b3e-4e29-9df1-27db38169295.thumb" width="58" height="78" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>Ahhh yesh, the latest of the late. A quick trip up to Blanca Lake, another gorgeous glacier fed lake north of Skykomish off of Hiway 2. I went with some old pals from highschool and their roomies. The hike was nice, but steep! It was one of those endless switchback hikes that made you really appreciate your water breaks.

This trip also helped me appreciate my back pack and the glorious wonder that it is! It works and i'm comfortable wearing it for days on end! One of the ladies that went with us was trying out her new bag, and we stopped lots of different times, everyone trying to readjust a strap or switch the weight were we thought everyone else had missed. It didn't work. A solid 4 hours of hiking and our friend wasn't too thrilled.

At least for all of the stops we found huckleberries! Tis the season. in so many colors and sizes and flavors. The big blue ones the size of your eyes, and the bright red ones that look like fish eggs and everything in between. yeah! Another glorious note for the time of year: no mosquitos. Thank the fucking heavens. Good trip all in all, good view, good hike, good food, good friends.

I'm hoping to get one more solid trip out of the summer. A couple days in the Olympics or maybe in the Cananda Rockies. We'll see. Time is ticking.

But with winter coming, i'm getting my dancing shoes ready because i'm going to dance my toesies red all winter long.

cheers to you and yours! </div>

    </a>
										<div>Hello hello, I should be doing homework, but I am reminded of something a friend of mine told me. "you should never should on yourself!"
So Instead, I am on tribe to write to you all of the things I love, and I welcome you to make any of your own additions to my list!

What tickles my pickle today, you ask? Well lemmee tell ya.

I love, hugs, from big tall round menbears that you get lost in and little ittie bitty babies that give kisses with their mouths open. I love giggling on the floor with my roommate about things we did ten years ago and dreams we have for tomorrow. I really like to cook and make it art, for your eyes and for your mouth. Yoga. I love yoga. And my body, slowly getting to know it better. Getting to know your body as well. Watching the magic, all of the different pieces and unexplainable mysteries that we take for granted every moment of the day. until we stop to give thanks. i love giving thanks, in candle light, in the middle of the night.

I love the feel of jello that you can slurp from out of your hand and down your mouth. I love big warm vats of carob pudding to roll around and slip and slide in.

I really like laying in tall grass, right in the middle of a field. Face down, and you can look at the world at the same level as thousands and thousands of creatures that cover the earth, glancing up at the dandilions that tower above! Face up, and the bottoms of flowers give you another perspective, the dark side of the flower, with all of their patterns and sacred geometry holding together the flower that we most often give all of our focus to.

i love speaking spanish. speaking from a piece of my heart that just can't be heard when spoken in english. Starting slowly and quietly and then getting a louder and louder voice, like thunder in the clouds, as I let it roll out, like she wants to when given a chance!
I love rambles, not letting yourself stop, just seeing what progression of your mind leads you to, sometimes understanding, sometimes having no idea from which part of the sky that little bit of something fell from. how did it land in this lap of mine? The little gifts that we just don't see coming. I love when I am able to spontaneously give, neither of us expecting it, and both of us happy for the opportunity to give and receive.

I like watching spiders weave their webs. I love watching my rat yawn and stretch his paw out to me. I love readiing. I love dreaming, I love love.

hmmm.....yesh I think so.

										<div>Ahhhh.... I found a picture of her, she is so beautiful! I forget that other people have cameras that they use, and I can use theirs to show you what my eyes have seen. 5900 ft tall, she stands proud! At 2500 or so is Lake Serene, the toothpaste blue lake that is just about the best swimming whole in the world. ahhhhh sweetness is camping in the paradise around you!</div>

<div>
Hey there to you,
It's me! I am sore, in several places, for several reasons. I am biking! All over the place. I found me a bike at Value Village for 15$, its an old street bike and its all mine. Red, with the curled over handle bars to make me look like I know what I'm doing. I ride to work and back, thats about one hour on a bike a day, with one big ol hill to wake me up in the morning and pull my hair back on the way home. It's nice... I just learned today, or it was reiterated to me, what pedal straps add to biking, it lets you use your entire leg instead of just the 'push down' muscles. And I went to a bike shop and started trying to learn more, about bikes and about what I want. Because I have big bike plans, and I am looking for a kick ass bike. a Cycle Cross bike? not a hybrid, but maybe a touring bike with straight handle bars and thicker tires? Do you know anything?? I am very open to suggestion....

If some of you have not heard, I've decided. I'm going to graduate from college. Now to start. But at the end of this path, I'm going to bike through south america, and hopefully continue my studies, Lydia style. I am half way through my yoga teacher certification, and I want to go to UW and graduate with physiology, or plant studies, or both, and religious studies. Right now, thats what I'm thinking about. Continue on this path I'm on now!

It really is beautiful here. So I am sore from biking up hills, and lots of yoga. But also from a hike I did on the fourth. A long gorgeous hike, up to lake Serene, at 2500 feet up, and sitting below Mt. Index, towering over the lake in a stone wall to 5900 feet. With stairs taking you up the mountain, and 23 switchbacks along the way, my back pack made me laugh as people asked if I was training! Nope, just have a goal in mind. It was busy on the forth, lots of people swimming in the toothpaste blue water, playing in the snow. But the sun went down, and so did all of the people. And all of a sudden, it was just me, by myself, a three hour hike and 2500 feet above anybody else. My first back packing trip by myself! I made a fire, watched the stars, had my first huckleberry of the season! and retreated from the mosquitos. It was a nice trip over all. And I would really like to do it again. Would you like to come? I'd love to hike and camp and explore with you!

Anywho, this weekend Madres Kitchen, where I cater, is doing a wedding out past Port Townsend- at an island retreat, and I just finished researching possibilities, or stuff to give me something to drop jaw at: Fruit displays!

Fantastic!

So I am working the rest of the weekend, but it will be fun. I'm tired now, but very content.

smiles and watermelon
