Yes! as Kelly Mentioned.. (Love ya man) My Surgery is complete and I am home resting with medication fairly comfortable, a little sore, still cant seem to eat much but Docs arent worried about that as long as Stay Hydrated.. Jamba Juice and ginger ale (NOT MIXED) are doing the trick.. and we'll try for a small meal tomorrow.

My Pancreas is completely atrophied, BUT it still has a small opening that is allowing it to function.. 1.3mm so its small but it working. as long as it doesnt close up were golden.. the Liver is taking the brunt of the disease, but the best part, there is NO CANCER...

most everyone knows the story of this little organ, and theres LOTS of OLD Blogs about it so I wont bore you with more details.. just wanted ya all to know that surgery went well. a little longer than usual because they now have to do the surgery under General Anesthesia. too many people were waking up under the light sedation and it was taking too much medication to keep them under safely without the anestheologist standing by..

so, I got the versed going in and then NO SHIT..... they gave me Propofol.... OMG!! i was freaked out.... they assured me it was safe when administered properly.. we joked I was not rich and not michale jackson and my doctor best not be calling people while operating on me..

i LOVE my Doctors.. 5 of the best at UCSF, if anyone ever needs a doctor for Liver or Pancreas. go see Dr Ostroff or Dr Mathey... just 2 of the best there are that take good care of me..

surgery was a little over an hour long and recovery another hour.. a day in the hospital and then home to my bed.. where I am treated like a queen by my boys.. How I love them.....

now the second part of the surgery is set for january.. and then this one AGAIN in june... its every 6 months.. but were pushin it out a little because I postponed it and threw off the schedule, they werent happy but every year surgery fell right at Playa time and I used to do the surgery and within a week be on the playa... that was getting too hard to do...

so, in closing.. ya all rock, I love ya bunches.. and I am all tuned up and ready to get movin again just need a few days to catch back up to myself...

health wise.. well... 21st of Oct we do another surgery procedure to g back in have a look and make sure that ol pancreas is still pluggin along, still hate it, still makes me anxious, but I KNOW it keeps me goin..

still dont get to see my grandkids because my son hates me and blames me for many things, some he has reason to other things he just doesnt understand, BUT its my grandkids that pay the price and ME, because I cant see them and watch them grow.. it's cruel. but I cant change who he is.. so until he can find it in his little christian heart to forgive me and lets move on things remain the same...

I am still traveling as much as I can as often as I can, and was in Hawaii when the tsunami went thru, glad it wasnt bigger, but it was exciting, Ok sounds strange but it was my first one and the sound of an ANGRY Ocean was intense...

I will be in Scotland, and Around Europe, Paris, Amsterdam, and time allowing perhaps a few more places in June 2012 for the entire month.
its my Family reunion on the Isle of Mull in Scotland. the MACLEAN Clan is about to invade from ALL PARTS of the world.. literally. the Diaspora is being called home... and I cant wait.....
