That's right, kids! Incendium Arts (a local fire performance troupe) wants YOU to be a permanent staple in I.A. history! We are calling out to all artists, graphic designers and anyone else with a creative edge to design our logo! You might have noticed that I changed my user name from Lyndsie (my real name) to Vega. As some of you know, my previous nickname was Star, given to me by an ex boyfriend, and while it caught on to other friends, I never concidered it a true nickname, more of a pet name from an ex boyfriend. However, he called me Star because the word seemed to fit me in many different ways.

This is one of Grimm's and my favorite annual events!! Not only that, but our fire troupe INCENDIUM ARTS has the opportunity to perform there again this year!!! On Saturday, March 4th, we kicked off the first fire gathering in Cincinnati!! In response to a visit from Chris Bailey (AKA Rovo) coming down from NY, and to celebrate Steph's, Jon's and my birthdays, which happened to fall around the same time, we decided to gather together as many spinners that would (and could) come out for the evening! Around 30 spinners came from all over the midwest to enjoy the festivities! We had spinners from all over Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, New York, and Michi...

Fate might have brought me here...I'm not sure...but all i know is that I'm very excited to be here, and to get to know and meet other spinners in my area. I'm totally stoked to find so many of you...it's amazing!! I didn't think the art of poi (or any other fire art for that matter) excisted outside of my boyfriend and myself in the entire midwest...and what do ya know...here you guys are!! I can't wait to get the opportunity to one day spin with you all!!
