about me
I’m a man in his early forties who is, believe it or not, preparing to retire from his first career as a police officer. I have to start laying the groundword for another career now, and there’s nothing I’d rather do than write. Since January 1, 2009, I’ve made the decision to get back into writing and see where it leads.
I’ve tried writing once before more than a decade ago in the comic book industry. The only problem with it was no one paid you, ever, so I left, a bit disappointed and very dejected. There’s no way I’ll return to comics, and I’ve decided to try writing EroRom (Erotic Romance) instead.
Some people might find it funny that a forty something guy would choose to do EroRom. I’ve even been attacked in some Yahoo groups for trying to write the stuff by some of the ‘hardcore’ but unpublished female authors there, but it didn’t scare me away. I like the genre. I think EroRom offers a lot of flexiblity and the potential for the largest reading audience in the Country. I like that it doesn’t follow the boy meets girl, boy loses girl bullshit formula of Romance, but instead allows the author to really explore their imaginations and their labidos.
I have one short story that’s been published, one that’s being published, and I’m working on my first full length novel, which I hope to get out by the summer.
