I'm the fiery-dreadlocked androgynous rock star freak your mother warned you about. Well, actually, that's not true. Moms love me. With my partner, the Mysterious D, I throw parties and DJ at clubs such as our monthly mashup party, Bootie, the first all-bootleg club in the United States. I'm also the lead singer for Smash-Up Derby, the world's only mashup rock band. I also have a 'real job' -- or at least one that pays the rent -- namely that of being the art director for the Bay Area Reporter, a gay/lesbian newsweekly, which mostly involves sitting in front of a Macintosh computer making stuff look pretty. Last but not least, I'm an old-school Burning Man vet, the editor and publisher of Black Rock City's favorite alternative newspaper, Piss Clear. Oh yeah, and I like to take roadtrips into the desert.
