I'm really pretty boring, but heres a few: I am a Hoop Junkie!!! My Handmade glow in the dark Hoop travels everywhere with me and will be broken out at random times. I love the Hoop Life and how it has changed my life. I have lost over 110 pounds since my friend first introduced me to the hoop in the summer of 2008. Now I use the hoops we handcraft together to reach others in need of balance and meaning in their life. I am always searching for new hoop crafting methods and enjoy meeting new faces and attending as many events as I possibly can. Now as for the rest of me~Thrift Stores-I go almost everyday, I think I'm an addict. The great deals, intresting finds, and diverse people draw me. Did you know they put something new out like everyday and if I'm not there someone else might find it!! Traveling- I'm trying to get every where I possibly can, so far my list includes: Milan, Italy, Amsterdam, Paradise Bay-Bahamas, San Juan, Lu Quillo, Fajardo, Ponce, Barranquitas-Puerto Rico, Dallas, Houston, Amarillo, Galveston, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Tuscaloosa, Gulf Port, Jackson, Meridian, Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile, Huntsville, Nashville, Memphis, Chatanooga, Pulaski, Louisville, Oklahoma City, Little Rock, Terre Haute, Cinncinatti, Cleveland, Akron, Detroit, Mannhattan, Brooklyn, Newark, Baltimore, D.C., Richmond, Greenville, Atlanta, Macon, Columbus, Albany, Stone Mountain, Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Destin, Fort Walton, Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Gulf Shores, Troy, Des Moines, and Kansas City. This is just a few places as I neglected to post all the small towns. Next I'll be heading back to New Orleans, then out west to Airizona, Mexico, California, and Nevada. The list never stops, nor does my desire to be a modern day nomad. Making music- using anything that makes sounds really. I sing alto, a lil soprano, and when I've been smoking alot a lil scratchy bass. I'm trying to teach my son as many instruments as possible so he can choose his path. We drop the dope beats on our turntables, and scratch it up a bit, keyboards, marracas, tamborene, accoustic guitar, spoons, precussion, flute, zylophone, bottles, u name it I intend to learn it or have learned as much as possible for his sake. Next were gonna try the dulcimer. Vinyls- I collect records, all genres and all types. It is one of my passions to dig. I probably have over 1000 records or so and i'mm always on the look out for more. From space age breaks to sesame street disco, u name it and I probably have or will have it ;). Vintage Clothing- I collect and sale vintage clothing, purses, and accessories. This has always been a passion of mine and I am always on the lookout for new items. I now have a large collection and have turned my garage into a shop. I host weekly sales and have auctions on ebay. Unlike other sellers, I try to keep my things resonably priced, since most of the time the buyers are college kids. If you have any vintage you would like to get rid of or know where to find some good stuff, please let me know!! Photography- I LOVE taking pictures!! Everywhere I look I see the potential for a great shot. I also enjoy touching up the shots in Photoshop. I have accomplished 6 years of college and am finishing up with a degree in Photography. My dream is to combine traveling and photography, my passions, as my career. Maybe journalism for National Geographic or some other magazine willing to pay me to do what I love, that is if the Hoop Life does not take permanent hold and stake it's claim in my life first. Their is nothing I love more than finding the Flow inside my hoop.
