Full-time housewife, part time student ( undergraduate........... I'm going to be a scientist when I grow up!!!)with fairly traditional outlook on life. I dream of a smallholding, and growing all my own produce! One of my (many ) ambitions is to plant an orchard! Not all apples, but an assortment of apples, pears, plums, cherries. greengage, damsons, sloes....the whole spectrum of tree fruit! I am an undergraduate with the Open University studying for a BSc(hons) degree course, in geosciences, (but not sure if my maths skill are up to par), In October of 2006, I shall have be a third of the way through, so still quite a way to go..... The Benfield Hazards Institute, British Antarctic Survey, NASA and the USGS.... You should start head hunting me in about 2010!!! I have recently resurrected my flute, and can now be heard happily playing along to my Dire Straits, Sky or Nigel Kennedy cds! I have also started the saxophone ( another life long ambition) with mixed success! Sounds dreadful, but it's good fun! Life revolves around my family ( namely my three gorgeous boys). I HATE ironing ( Is there anything else as mind numbingly dull?), and am scared of heights and big spiders( I can cope with the little ones). My dreams include cruising the Norwegian fjords, Seeing the Aurora Borealis ( or Australis.... I'm not fussy!), A trip down the Egptian Nile, Visiting Yellowstone National Park, Watching a volcano erupt, Feeling the Ground moving beneath my feet (just a small earthquake), To see the beauty of the Arctic or Antarctic..... Oh, and World Peace!
