Shakespeare is awesome, a brilliant poet and philosopher. He speaks mostly to that which is familiar to all of us, that universal commonality of being a human being, and does it beautifully. He may be one of the reasons I remain an actor. The stage speaks to me, it is a medium to converse with the divine... and the applause isn't so bad either.
