about me
I'm a Consecrated Priest of the Irish Earth-Goddess, The Morrighan of about 5 years, now (though I've been Pagan for twice that time!). And, uunlike some other posers, She chose me to serve Her, rather than so many Buffy Bunnies invoking Her to their pedantic ends, or what they think She is based upon spurious, "fixed," late 19th. century academia.
But, I really am a nice guy, honest! I just tend to get upset by all of the posers that plague modern Pagan Witchcraft these days. Especially the anti-Fluffy Findamentalists which are just as bad as the Fluffy Bunnies (they like to tell everyone how wrong they are, or claim their research is crap (regardless of the shifting winds of academia), or enact out-and-out character assassination for no other reeason than their own selfish Egos. I have a hard time believing that the vast majority of these people would say to whomever they happen to be insulting what they are if the conversation were in person. Hypocritically, the 'Net tends to give folks an instent set of brass balls. But, I've digressed enough... I'm a researcher, and writer (well, that is to say I have several writing projects underway as we speak!), with a sincere interest in cultural anthropology and antiquated material culture! However, the worship of the Old Gods always come first. Take Care, Wade MacMorrighan

Hey, thanks Rob! Actually, I'm curious about what he's explicitly doing (or using) to capture those areal views. And...what's "track motion"? :oP

Custom-Potion Services!!!

Hey guys, I totally hope that no one reports this as SPAM, because it's not "intended" to be (there are so many damned personal definitions floating around about what SPAM is or is not); I just want to extend an offer to every member here. You ar...

Dried Berry Jams?
(in Herbal Medicine)
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone, here, has any experience making jams with dried berries (eg. hawthorne berries or elderberries, which are hard to find fresh and growing in the wild in my area of the country). This is why I purchase berries s...

Getting the "Money Shot"?
(in Video Production)
Hey guys, as I've mentioned before, I'd like to film a personal YouTube channel that sort of a "cooking show" in style on the subject of herbalism. But, how do other cooking shows get the shots that they do, comparing and contrasting between the ...

Hey guys, I totally hope that no one reports this as SPAM, because it's not "intended" to be (there are so many damned personal definitions floating around about what SPAM is or is not); I just want to extend an offer to every member here. You are free to accept it, or to absolutely ignore it. Now, I am obviously a Witch (duh!), and I have a passion for brewing Potions! Subsequently, I plan to write a whole monograph on the subject, but I want many more formulas than what I have created fo...

Hey guys, I was scouring YouTube today, in search of some interesting recipes when I found one for a White Mojito invented in France (apparently). What a great way for me to use this Summer's violet syrup that I've made! However, there's likely a whole range of syrups that you could buy which would be far stronger than a single-strength violet syrup made by making an infusion with 1 Cup of packed violet flowers steeped for 48 hours in boiling water and strained:

Hey guys, it occurs to me this morning that if iMovie comes with a selection of animated backgrounds for use on a Mac in order to create something such as this lovely example from Laurie Cabot, HPs ( www.youtube.com/watch ), than surely there are websites on-line that allow for one to either create, download, or customize animated backgrounds similar to those used by iMovie, only to be able to download them and import them into Movie Maker as with any recorded video; afte...

Hey guys I'm very new to digital film-making, but I would like to start a YouTube channel as an Herbalist with is very, well..."Cooking Show" in format. I was wondering if you might have any advise for the home digital film-maker to ensure slightly more "professional" results. Are there any books specifically on this subject that you might care to recommend? Any sites? Any people you know with some sage advise? Personally, I was impressed by this guy's channel (particularly these two vid...

Hey guys, this (late!) winter I'd like to start several seeds indoors with a grow-light system. However, anyone who's actually SEEN a grow light knows full well that they are simply VERY expensive florescent lights (obscenely so!). So, I would like to construct a sort of shelving unit with an ability to support a fluorescent light on the top of each shelf of seed flats. But, I haven't been able to find any instructions for such a device. Any crafty folks got any advice? Hmmm....maybe I c...
