If you find your way here and think you like what you see, please add me as a friend.... I have been meeting a lot of great people lately! Thanks to everyone for your kindness and support!
I am a typical pisces dreamer. If there is one thing in life I have learned that I think is true, it's that while we usually cannot change those things that happen to us, we can change our reaction to what happens to us. I am currently trying to teach my face to always smile instead of frown, which has had the wonderful side effect of adding to my joy in life.
I'm a botanist by trade, a freak by inclination (all the freaky people make the beauty of the world), a lover by nature. I love the Santa Cruz area.... everytime I try to leave, I just seem to come back. Even Hawaii couldn't hold me.
So in case you are wondering, the poems are all my own, as are any pictures that I have posted with them. I haven't been doing photography much lately, because my camera broke and I haven't gotten a new one yet. But one of these days it'll happen.
So, I have started going out to electronica shows in Santa Cruz and San Francisco. I sure do love dancing! If you see me out, say hi, as I love making new friends. I am very mellow and easygoing, and love to talk about the taboo topics of politics and religion... just be aware that my politics are way left and my spirituality is very open. I also like talking about music, travelling (I love to hear travel stories!), nature, and a wide variety of other topics. I can surely chit-chat, but prefer those conversations that go deep and rarely come up for air.
I find life to be a wonderous adventure, and I would love to share it with you!

I gotta say that Mad Poet is a guy who makes you feel welcome in his space. He's a listener, seems truly interested and is actively engaged in conversation. What a gift to be with someone who doesn't make you feel rushed. Take time to know this man... it doesn't hurt that he has gorgeous eyes too..
