Vanilla Farmer in Madagascar

One of my projects at site has been helping out on an amazing vanilla plantation in the forest... We pollinate the flowers in October and November and in June and July we harvest and cook the beans. Vanilla harvest is wonderful at my site... the whole village smells of vanilla!
