2008 PADS Charity Calendar Available Online

pads.ca has their new Puppies In Training Calendar available online for $12. All proceeds go to the dogs. Help PADS raise and train dogs for people with disabilities. It takes around $35,000 to place one dog with a client. PADS gets no government funding. They rely on donations and fundraising activities such as this calendar. They make great holiday gifts for the dog lovers on your list.

Released PADS dog looking for good home.

Jade is an 11 month old, spayed Black Lab female who is Canadian Kennel Club registered. Jade has had her hips x-rayed, and the preliminary OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, www.offa.org) report rated her hips as Good, which means the x-ray showed no sign of hip dysplasia. Jade is wonderful with other dogs and has showed no signs of aggression. She is eager to please and a quick learner. Jade would enjoy doing agility, tracking or obedience or having an active owner. BC Renfest Needs Vendors/Stage Performers

I was wondering if any of you have heard about our new venture.
The BC Renaissance Festival is a new concept and approach to festivals here.
Our goal is to be a permanent site, eventually, and establish ourselves as a
tourist attraction. Being that it is our first year we are hoping to
attract the types of vendors the already existing festivals have. This
