My life has turned out to be fairly well-modulated and strangely wholesome, but I still have my pedigree of hip-ness and a hedonistic side. I'm mild mannered, a bookish intellectual, a little unconventional, with a predilection for eclectic interests and hobbies and a self-deprecating yet warm sense of humor.
Things I enjoy include cocktails and conversation, music (Brit- and Indie-pop, ambient, jazz, and experimental), seeking out intelligent and off-beat films, experimental cooking, collecting wine, travelling, attending art-minded events of various kinds, and perhaps spending a bit too much time in record and book stores in search of elusive bands and interesting additions for my library shelves.

As time evaporates like so much space under the bed, and I spend far too much of my life toiling on the pixel farm, a quote from John Maeda, a professor of media arts and sciences at MIT's Media Lab, suddenly resonates quite strongly in my head...
